Remarks
Took admission through KCET. The rank should be below 30k (general) to get admission in EIE department. I suggest you to wait till 3rd councelling in KCET. Other ways to get admission is through comedk and management quota. Fees in management quota is less.
Course Curriculum Overview
EIE department was comparatively small. Only one section with 60 students. Other departments like CEE/ECE/Mech/Civil has 3 sections. The advantage of having small department is that, it's ready to bond with all teachers. But every semester you've same set of teachers. While in bigger department you can have advantage of different teaching.
Internships Opportunities
No internship opportunities. But you might talk to your faculty members and contact industry people through them. Every year there will be industry visit. College will also keep you updated with nearby workshops and exhibition.
Placement Experience
Placement is good for CSE/IS/ECE people. The average package will be 3-4 lpa. The highest package can go for 7 lpa. Also you have to pay 5k to placement office after getting placed. This fees is 5k per offer letter.
Fees and Financial Aid
College fees is ~20k per year. Whereas KCET fees is 19k per year for aided students and 55k for unaided students. College fees is very much less than rest of Bangalore engineering colleges. This is because dr AIT is a government college. Many scholarship for SC/ST students.
Campus Life
Infrastructure is ok. Only one small shop inside the campus for beverages. But right outside the college, you can find many restaurants. Every month there is will be some or the other fest. College fest, department fest, festivals, etc.
Other Applied Colleges
Atria institute of technology | BE, CSE
The infrastructure was not good.
