Entrance Preview :

I cleared my SSC exam and got the admission to First Year Junior College. The admission process is simple and the staff of the college was very courteous.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The Accounts Stream was very good and the teachers of the college were very good. The subjects and curriculum were designed as per the latest trend going in the field of education. The college curriculum was very up to the mark with the current scenario in the field of education.

Internships Opportunities :

No, During my time the college did not provide any internship. However the students were free to work outside the college on part- time basis. However the college was strict in attendance and still today the tradition is followed.

College Events :

Spread over 10 days, from the 19th of January to the 30th, has a whole host of events lined up for sports, the technically sound as well as the culturally inclined. The fest kicks off with the all the sports activities. Watch as students show their cricketing strokes and football skills. After 6 days of sports fever, We will kick off with all technical stuff for the geeks out there.

Fees and Financial Aid :

The Rizvi College does not provide any loan facilities or any scholarship in those days in General. However,, there is a scholarship for minorities in the college. I didn't apply for it and i wouldn't know much about it. There were some others who had applied for it. And the college supports the student in studies.

Hostel Facilities :

No, there were no Hostel. If one needs a PG then they can find some but as the location of the college is Bandra west then it would be expensive to fit in here. Normally a PG range in Bandra is around 8 to 10 thousand a month. Which would not include food. There are other college in Mumbai that provide hostel facilities however the hostel and Mess Facilities are not available in Rizvi College.

Alumni/Alumna :

There are few alumni who have created the groups and they go for reunion every year. However my personal experience is that the senior college students were very helpful and friendly in nature.

Exam Structure :

The Exam structure varied from stream to stream. The practicals were conducted in Labs on regular intervals for Science Stream. My friends were there in the Science faculty and they were having a chilling time. They were not at all pressurised by the Exams or Practicals in the College.

Admission :

The forms were sold in the month of June and the admission process is similar to other colleges. The admission process was very simple and fast. The admission process was completed in few steps Purchase of Form, Filled up form to be submitted, Wait for the List. Once name appears enquire about the fees and date of admission and fees to be submitted.

Faculty :

The faculty across the stream of Arts, Science and Commerce were well educated and fully equipped with current knowledge. The faculty were personally involved with the aim to impart the quality education to the students of the college. The faculties will help the students after the college hours and resolve their queries.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements typically begin in the 5th or 6th semester, depending on the college's policy, with eligibility requirements like a minimum GPA. Companies like motilal , toothsii, and various startups often visit for recruitment. The number of offers made varies by college and course, with 30-40 companies visiting for a batch of 100 students.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placements after the fifth semester of their graduation and the companies visiting the college include the big 4 of the industry like delliote, KPMG, ey and PWC. The average salary per year ranges from 6-7LPA and the highest package is around 13LPA a year. 70 percent of the students get placed through the college every year . I personally plan to pursue MBA as my post graduation thats why i will not be opting for college placements

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course can be taken by students who want to give professional exams like CA, CS, CMA as the syllabus of B.Com is similar to these professional courses. So you don't have to study extra for B.Com exams.

Placement Experience:

The college offers quite good placements as a B. com degree holder. Big 4s provide placements to students which is a plus point for commerce students and incase anybody couldn't get the placements as a commerce students there are many options available such as government job preparation, other competitive exams, accountant jobs etc. And you can opt for higher studies which increases your worth.

Course Curriculum Overview:

You get direct in-house admission for Bcom if you're a junior college student at dahanukar. The curriculum is enough to prepare us for the exam however outdated it is. The syllabus needs to change the teachers need to be changed and also the management should be updated. The college requires a dynamic approach rather than a slow and less productive one. The exams are conducted semi annually and their difficulty is quiet manageable.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Although the faculty here are experts but they still lag with some professional options but to overcome this we are Collaborated with professional to provide the best. Our exams are at a moderate level which a student can clear if he is really engaged in studies. Academics are great and timings of exam depend on the type of exam

Placement Experience:

About 80 to 90 % of the student got placed in the course. Most of the big companies give internships from top companies. The highest package offered was around 7.2 LPA. The average salary package is around 3.5 LPA. The top companies which offered placement are HDFC bank, Accenture, TCS, and Infosys. You get the placement if you got more than 80 % in any course or category. I have planned to do a CA course after completing my degree course.
