Remarks :
When I was looking for this engineering course there is an entrance exam for the admission process. KEAM is mandatory for getting admission in the engineering stream. Eligibility for the course is plus two and engineering entrance mark. The application form is available at the entrance commissioner site and the fee is around 700rs. The reservation for special ones is there during the admission process. I don't think new things are added there because always these things are required during the admission process.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The Chemical Engineering Course that chosen by me due to my passion for the chemistry field. It's also a great and achievable sector. Chemical Engineer is an inevitable one in each and every industrial sector. So as a Chemical Engineer I have so many responsibilities are here for doing my level best. Among all the 4 years around 300 students are there along with 10 faculties and 5 lab staffs are there. The minimum qualification of each faculty members are Mtech and many of them have Ph.D. there. Each semester has a duration of 4 to 5 months and each semester exam was conducted in between 3 to 4 weeks period of time. If you studied in proper manner and regularly it's very easy to crack each and every exam.
Internships Opportunities :
Internships are provided by the college in online and offline mode and also students were also searching for them and find out and after that get permission from college and do it for the specified time period. Companies and count depend on students' interests and there passion. Projects are also taken by students themselves and all the supportive things were given by the department and facilities. In some cases, the department was given the topics too.
Placement Experience :
There are placement opportunities provided by the college. From the 6th semester itself, students are directed to attend the placement training and placement test. There are above or nearly around 150 to 200 companies came there are getting around 600 to 700 students placed. Some companies offer very high packages and placement there. Last time a company provides 16LPA for offers. An avg package of about 4 LPA is sure. Around 60 % of students get placed during the placement. For after degree may be Mtech or jobs are looking for me.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure for each and everyone is about that prescribed by the government. For each yr around 10000 is required per person and for hostellers around 60000 is required for 1 yr fees. There are so many scholarships are available for each category and also all the details were given by the faculty members at the right time and also there are a lot of placement opportunities provided by the college placement cell. So campus jobs are easy to achieve if we prepare in a better way.
Campus Life :
The entire campus life is extraordinarily providing much happiness to us. There are so many fests are conducted there includes college-level fest, national level fest too. Most probably even sem duration was preferred for conducting those programmes. Each department had its own library in the department and students can access books from there also there is a campus library for all the students with a digital library section too. Classrooms were consist of all facilities includes wifi on several occasions and also they provided digital classes. There are a lot of sports-related activities are conducted and several college teams are also created and most of the time TKMCE becomes the champions in the South zone conducted by the university. Also, several students club students chapters are working there under the guidance of students and concerning faculties.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostels are were good in appearance and the food that they provided. There are several hostels for TKMCE for each year and also provide all the required things in the rooms. Also include reading areas study areas gym facilities too. Meals and menus were taken by the student's reps themselves. The registration process for the hostel Admission was carried along with the college admission time and in most cases, all the students must get admission there. Also, several private hostels are there for accommodation in karikode areas.
