Remarks :

I had got admission there through the Kerala Engineering entrance. I got a management seat hence the tuition fee was 65,000 rupees. In my college, there are three kinds of seats regular, management and NRI. In regular and management seats the admission is through Kerala Engineering entrance. I am in the general category so I didn't get any reservations.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I like Electronics so I had chosen this course. The faculty-student ratio is about 1:40. The faculties are nice and smart. Some of them are guest lectures. The others are permanent staff. Guest lectures have less experience hence their teaching was not up to the mark. Most of them have Ph.D. in the field. Two internal exams are there and a final semester exam every semester. Overall the teaching was good.

Internships Opportunities :

We have done an internship in Keltron. It is not offered by the college. We have found it on our own. It is only a 10 days program and no stipend is for this internship. We have given classes on computer hardware, relays, etc.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure for management students is 65000 rupees per year for four years. For regular students, it is 35000 rupees. And for NRI students it is 100000 per year when I was studying(2014-2018). The above-given fee is only a tuition fee. Textbooks, notebooks and all other things we have to bring by ourselves. The exam fee is also there for every semester of exams which is about 3000 rupees. Some students get minority scholarships( for Christian and Muslim students). There is a fee waiver category in each department based on the rank they secured in the entrance exam. They have only 1000 rupees per year.

Campus Life :

Tech fest of our college is called Lumiere and it is conducted either in January or in February. In that fest many students from different colleges in Kerala and outside Kerala also participated. There are different events like Best Manager, Best Entertainer, Fashion Show, Photography and other technical events. Almost all books are available in the library and we can take 2 books from the general library and can take books from department livrary as well. Classrooms have a black board, desk and benches, some of the classrooms have white board as well. The campus support sports events and there is each game for each department such as Volleyball for ECE department, football for Electrical department, etc. No such clubs or social groups.

Students who have completed their sixth semester can start their placements. Infosys, Wipro,TCS, digitalcore, USTGlobal , Sutherland, Accenture etc had taken placements from last years. The average package starts from 120000 lpa and highest was 700000lpa. This year itself more than 800 students was placed in different companies.
