Remarks :

During Josaa Counselling I had 3 colleges to choose from.IIT Gandhinagar Chemical, IIT Bhubaneshwar Mechanical, and IIT Jodhpur Mechanical. I chose IIT Jodhpur because of its modern infrastructure, campus facilities, flexible curriculum, and rich culture. The admission process was pretty smooth and we were properly guided by seniors and faculty members during the entire procedure.

Course Curriculum Overview :

One of the best things about IIT Jodhpur is its flexible course curriculum. Even the core technical branches like Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, etc. are taught important subjects like Machine Learning and, Data Structures and Algorithm. This helps students to expand their knowledge and creativity. The student-faculty ratio is 1: 60 which is pretty good. There are Teaching assistants apart from professors who help resolve subject-related queries. The faculties here are graduates from highly respected colleges of the world.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

IIT Jodhpur has tie-ups with many colleges all over the world this provides students with an opportunity to study abroad with minimum effort. The fees are also reasonable seeing the facilities and opportunities provided by the college.

Campus Life :

IIT Jodhpur has a campus of 800 acres which includes flora and fauna, modern facilities like wifi, proper hostels, proper healthcare facilities, etc. There are various fests that are organized every year like Aaftab, Ignus, Spandan, etc. The classrooms here are very spacious and modern. Every classroom has a centralized Air conditioner, proper lightings, comfortable seats and desks, projectors, etc. Since the campus is so big the sports culture has flourished here. Sports like Volleyball, Football, Basketball, Badminton, Squash, Table Tennis, etc are available. There are various Clubs like Robotics Club, Pheme, AI and Research, Literature Club, Programming Club, etc. The Student Well Being committee is also a big part of IIT Jodhpur and it plays a major role in a student's life at and beyond IIT Jodhpur.

Good college, good life

Course Curriculum Overview:

Food is a vast subject and people will not stop eating, so the scope of food technology is just amazing. The college has its own faculty for different subjects. This btech course is of 4 years ie 8 semesters. Each semester has midterms and final semester exams. Last semester is for an internship. Midterms are of 20 marks, practical of 30 marks and final semester theory exams of 50 marks, so passing the exam is damn easy. Regular classes with good faculties make this course easy.

Placement Experience:

From 6th sem students are eligible. Various companies visit here this year 1500 offer given to student but 1 truth is this high package is given to jecrc college also the university has various mca students that then I talk to senior that they haven't easily placed but there are opportunities there highest package was 44 lakh rs off campus by Amazon. 60 to70% of students get placed with an average package of 4.5 lakh rs but before this average package was 3 lakh.

From the 6th semester, you can sit for the placements. The highest package is 72lk per annum (off-campus) and the average is 6 lakh per annum (on-campus). 116% got job offers (placement still going), 1-9 job offers for each student. After getting my degree I have plans to join DRDO.

Placement Experience:

A good type of companies like Google, Microsoft, Apple, etc offer internships two together off-campus and on-school grounds where there exist many assistant roles ready for use to enhance our ability and get ready for future placements. We also disturb do a variety of projects to embellish our skills. Out of it, 60-70% of students get placed. My plan after getting a degree is to start up my own startup. Our campuses placement scenario has been positive with a 100% placement rate. Around 2 months before the placement session, the placement cell of our college contact recruiters after which through the job announcement form, all the companies provide our necessary data. Most importantly, everyone needs to know that the placement session occurs twice a year i.e. between January to April and August to November. Above all, the highest package offered in the previous year was 45 LPA and that as an average package 7-8 L was witnessed. Also, since our college offers summer internships.
