Remarks :

Good- Good campus environment and brand value.Bad- Needs more research and lab facilitiesApply for the entrance examination and clear it, once you clear it and obtain a good rank attend the counselling , submit the documents.www.bhu.ac.in, also saw some articles.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I got interested in course because i wanted to learn more about the whole process of food from farm to fork since its the essential need.Ratio- 1:10Faculty needs to have doctoral degree and is highly experienced. Teaching method is mainly through presentation. Exams are held twice a semester. Difficulty level - Average.

Class Size : 27Course Fees : INR 150000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Internship opportunities are there and are compulsory in my course but the situation changed for this batch due to the COVID.

Placement Experience :

Placement facilities vary according to your department and how strong is your alumina circle, management courses have higher placements. Many NGO'S based placements are held in agriculture department.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee structure varies for paid and unpaid course , can be checked on official website. Accommodation facilities are hard to get. There are no financial facilities for students of other states and general categories (only talking about my department).

Campus Life :

There is agri. fest and IIT fest and other which you can attend (Don't know much due to covid), Yearly sports fest are held according to departments. Library has good collection of books There is central library and also every department has their own. Clubs activities are held differently according to given budget and organized by students.

Hostel Facilities :

In department of agriculture, only the toppers get the hostel sometimes only the 1st rank. I got it for 2 semester. Facilities are good and you need to pay for food separately at monthly basis. Menu is mainly vegetarian , 3 times a day and tea time at 4 PM. you can choose for eggs and Non-veg food once a week at dinner. Also no dinner on sunday nights. For rest semester , i rented a room along with classmates in sankat mochan locality.

Admission :

No, I didn't have to go through any interviews they are mainly held for the doctoral positions. For masters entrance examination is enough.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course structure was well designed and updated with the ongoing preparations of government exams which helped me alot in my preparations as everywhere polity is something that is a mandatory one and hence the curriculum plus the overall teaching pattern the timing of exams and the level of difficulty was moderate if someone had attended all the classes, plus the marking scheme was a bit hard and other aspects like attendance was also included, however there's no such compulsion that one must attend the classes this was only applicable for sessionals

the aktu syllabus give me vast knowledge of this particular course that's why i choose this. real world applications are their like in graphics lab coa lab rest subjects also have real world applications knowledge. areas of improvements required in subjects like workshops lab, etc. frequency and timing of exams are very relaxed.

There is vaery less placement oppourtinity. In previous year our placement is very well but after 2020 there is a sudden down to placement. Maximum students prefer to give the GATE examination, and i also preapiring for GATE.

Placement Experience:

from 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements comapniess that visited our campus are cape gemini ,wipro,tcs, accenture, palo alto and many more.. last year highest i think was 54 lpa and average was of 4-5 lpa a decent amount of students got placed this year too 300+ in capegemini and 108+ in tcs and many in accenture too
