Remarks :

The admission is through JEE Advanced exam. If you belong to the general category and have qualified for this exam with a general rank of around 5000, you should surely consider this. But if you belong to the OBC category and your category rank is around 2500, you are most likely to get this branch easily. The age is as per the guidelines of the exam and the counseling process is flexible. Just need to present the documents mentioned along with your category (if you belong). The document verification process won't take much time.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Since my rank was around 12k, I found this course most suitable as per my rank. This course is available only in few colleges throughout India and IIT Dhanbad is one of the most prestigious colleges which fall in this category. Faculties in this colleges are well qualified and have completed their Ph. D from well-known international universities. Some professors also have work experience in the field. The exams are conducted twice: mid-sem and end-sem in case of offline mode in a semester. Relative grading system have been introduced so you definitely need to study in order to get good grades.

Internships Opportunities :

Top IT companies include Google, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, Amazon, Microsoft, etc. Hiring process for most of the companies includes resume shortlisting, online test (coding round), GD and interview. Students are selected on the basis of their aptitude and problem solving skills. Major profiles comprises competitive coding, machine learning, AI, web designing, front end backend, business analyst, etc. The students are required to work on a specific project in groups and present effective solutions to the problem.

Placement Experience :

Campus internship for students starts in their 3rd year. A number of companies core and non-core visit to hire students. Top companies include: Google, Goldman Sachs, Microsoft, Sprinklr, Amazon, Standard Chartered, Axxela, ONGC, ExxonMobil, Cairn, NVIDIA, Tata steel, Oracle and many more. The stipend of interns varies from 10k to 2 lakhs per month. Based on internship performance, PPOs are also given to students. Placement starts from December in final year and the percentage of students getting placed varies from branch to branch. Previous year highest CTC offered was 90L from Bloomberg. In petroleum engineering, the average package is around 10-15 lakhs. After getting the degree, I aim to get a decent placement and work in the company to have a crisp understanding of the industry.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Annual family income defines your fees structure. Below 1 lakh, you get total fee waiver on tuition fees. If annual income falls between 1-5 lakhs, you get 33% fee waiver and above 5 lakhs you have to pay total tuition fees. SC/ST students get a 100% fee waiver on tuition fees. Hostel fees is 15k per semester. MCM scholarship is provided to meritorious students based on their CGPA. Other scholarships from state and central governments are also communicated to the students via mail.

Campus Life :

Two major fests are organized: Srijan (spring fest) in February and Concetto (tech fest) in September-October. The Central Library of IIT ISM Dhanbad has got the distinction of being the biggest Asian library. Books relating to various branches are stacked and can easily be found in different sections. Our college has grounds for almost every sport: Cricket, badminton, tennis, football, basketball, etc. The clubs include Cyber labs, E-cell, Robotics, Manthan, ADC, LITM, WTC, LIT-C, Chayanika, Mailer Daemon, Udaan, ForoFreaks, LCI, etc which the students can join based on their interest.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostels are allotted to the students for different years. First-year students are generally accommodated in Jasper which has 5 floors and 4 blocks. Meal quality is okay. Veg and non-veg both are provided on different floors and the menu is fixed for every week. Two students share a room, room size is smaller than required. The registration process for a hostel is not difficult.

Remarks:

Best college is situated nearby my home and also as per the review, this college provide best educational facilities, and also it is the best private engineering college of jharkhand and bihar, I got to hear that the faculties of this college a much well and highly educated, all faculties are very friendly with the students, it is also situated in very peace place which is outside the polution and noisey place, where we are able to get pure air which are helpful in study. and most important about placement, here the placement of this college that I got to hear about was very good, approx 70 to 80 percent of students are placed in reputed company. and i am the student of this college, and I fell better to chhose this college.I chose to go to a large university because I like being part of a diverse student body. The world is a big place, and I thought attending a big school would better prepare me for life in the real world. My university has a very strong school of sciences, and I wanted to study under the best minds in the country. It also offered the specialization I was seeking, and I wanted to fast track my education.I chose to go to a large university because I wanted to maximize my post-college opportunities while still in school. We have a vast alumni network, and this helped me land a great summer internship.I chose community college because I was supporting myself, and I wanted a college that was both flexible and affordable. While I was attending classes, I was also working 30 hours a week, but I still managed to get my associate degree in two and a half years.Starting at a community college was a good option for me. I knew exactly what I wanted to achieve, and this school allowed me to earn the professional certificate I needed to start my career.

Placement Experience:

the training and placement of my college is all about average 70% avery year. every year the student got placed in the reputed company and this is the very good thing that the every student want from every college.

Admission:

The JCECE Board conducts the admission process for the BTech course in our College. It is a board constituted by the Government of Jharkhand for those who are willing to pursue B.Tech in Jharkhand. For getting admission into the M.Tech course, you will have to appear for a written test and an interview that is conducted by our institute. In addition to this, you will also have to provide a valid GATE course. Other than this, our College also offers research programs, and to get admitted into those, you will have to appear for an interview and a written test.

Placement Experience:

I am in my final year of B.Tech and have already received placements offers from some of the best companies. The package we are offered also varies somewhere between Rs. 4.5 lakhs and 10.5 lakhs per year. I personally believe that this is a good package for a beginner. Some of the companies that hire students from our institute include CESC Limited, Genpact, Haldia Petrochemicals Ltd., HCL Info System, IBM, Honda, Tata Steel, Vedanta, Aditya Birla Group, etc.
