Transparent review about my college

Remarks :

I had applied to a lot of colleges in West Bengal. I'm a general caste student hence I was not under any kind of quota. I had applied to Burdwan University, Calcutta University, Kalyani University, Viswabharati University, Sidhu Kanho Birsa University, and BHU but this year the admission pattern was different as it was entirely based on Merit at least in West Bengal. I could make it to get admitted to Asutosh College for my further studies. The admission process was normal, we were given a link to join a Google Classroom meeting for our verification of documents and then they directed us to pay the admission fees.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Since I'm reading the same course in the same college I did my graduation, things are pretty much the same to me except for the syllabus. The faculty-to-student ratio has decreased from 11:28 to 11:20. The course has just begun and the faculty has been the same to us as before. Looking forward to a great 2-year experience.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees structure has increased in comparison to my previous course here. This is a government-affiliated college with my department being self-financed. The annual fee for the course is 36,000 INR which is required to be paid in 2 halves due to financial constraints during COVID. So we had paid 18k till now and the rest needs to be paid at the end of the first year. Laboratory fees is 30,000 INR in Masters's program which used to be 23,000 INR during my bachelors.

Campus Life :

Asutosh College's fests are very popular and attract a lot of students outside of the college as well. In 2019, the crowd had grown so much that they had promised to book the Netaji Indoor Stadium to accommodate all the crowd. Every year fests are held and very popular figures are invited to join and entertain. Books are available in the Central Library in good counts. Seminar libraries for individual departments are present as well. Extracurricular sports like cricket, badminton tournaments are held, intra-college and inter-colleges. Asutosh College Students Union is very popular.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Per semester should be happen for 6 months. Practicals should be done hands on by individual students. But im really happy to get a chance to pursue the course here. I gain some practical knowledges and cleared some small problems. I cleared all my doubts properly.
