Remarks

admission process was easy and they didn't take a lot of time ba psychology is in very few colleges in du but all the colleges are good and in order to get admission in du u must get more then at least 90% and if you are using any quota then at least more than 80% ( the least percentage req for admission may differ every year)

Course Curriculum Overview

I find psychology very fascinating what made me go for psychology is disorders Iam am very much into knowing about psychological disorders thier causes treatment etc thought psychology is much more than just disorders it studies mental processes, behaviors and past experiences of both human and animal. teachers are very helpful, and all the teachers are quite educated all the teachers in the faculty have done their masters some have even higher qualifications so there is only 1 batch it includes 60 students Frequent class testes and assignments are given and students are evaluated based on that

Yearly fees for ba psych is around 11000 which is quite fine as compared to other uni since it's a gov college Iam not sure about the placements or Interships provided by the college I am not very much aware about the scholarships and final assistance given. By the college

annual Fest are conducted in end of Feb or in month or March i haven't seen any fest yet due to pendemic. And every department do their own fest Iam not aware about the dates college has its own library it issues books almost all the books are available to students t there is perfect sitting arrangements for students Though there are no ac classrooms only some classrooms auditoriums and library has a ac almost every Curricular activity is present in the college College is in very good area there are so many cafe around the college metro is also close

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is good but there a backlog as they does not provide the selection for the programme courses in first year but they have good subjects in sac vac gt and all so its a good thing and the courses provided by the du are helpful for all.

Placement Experience:

You are eligible for placements from the 5th semester. Multiple companies visited including Deloitte,kpmg,icici bank,zomato etc. 300 offers were makde to the students The highest package last year was 12 lpa and average was 5.7 lpa and profies offered were financial analyst, business development associate, marketing, management trainee etc I think around 40 percent got placements I am planning to do mba after this degree

Placement Experience:

The college has a placement cell which comes up with lots and lots of internship and job offers throughout the year, you get multiple new job opportunities every week but the campus placement is not all that great, B Com courses have somewhat decent placements. the college doesn't push very much or try much to get students placed, you're on your own.

I had also applied to lpu and got the admission letter also but chose this college due to low fees and great location. I had applied to symbiosis pune also and got rejected. I think the reason for rejection was my bad performance in personal interview My college accepts only cuet-ug for admission in all the courses including business economics.
