Gauhati Commerce College Center of Management Studies is one of renowned college in our state. The college has a good record of placements and the faculties are also very professional and friendly. The admission was done only by entrance exam.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choosed MBA after my B.Tech because I want to add managerial skills along with my technical knowledge. The faculties in our college are very professional and very friendly, and great teaching skills. We have got 64 students in our class with 50-50 ration of boys and girls in the class. All the faculties are PhD. holders. The semester exams are conducted on 6 months basis.
Internships Opportunities :
We are allowed for internship only after second semester. I have also applied for internships in few banks and financial institutions and waiting for the internship results to be declared.
Placement Experience :
In our college, the students can sit for placements on or after third semester in campus placements. Many renowned companies, institutions and banks visit our college for placements. More then 80% students get placements every year.My plan is also to get a good job after the completion of the course.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The structure of the college is ?â_49000 in first semester and ?â_46000 in rest three semesters. I had applied for scholarship but did not get the scholarship yet, hope to get that soon. Since, I am in second semester sit for job placements as in our college students are allowed to sit for placements on or after third semester.
Campus Life :
The management fest conducted in our college in Anuron which is conducted in starting months of the year like January or February. Almost all books related to management are available in the library. Class size is quite big and with all facilities are available like projector, mic, ACs etc.

Admission :
Yes, I have faced both Group Discussion and Personal Interview after the Written Entrance Exam. The Group Discussion topic was on COVID-19 and the Personal Interview was basically on B.Tech (technical knowledge) and few questions were about Business World.
