Remarks :
The application process for this college began with the completion of the college entrance exam. Other national-level examinations, such as the CAT, SAT, and GMAT, were also approved. After that, a merit list was released, followed by counselling and a personal interview. I had to submit my 10+2 results, including my degree marksheets, as well as my ID proof and passport-size pictures for admittance. The application cost was INR 2000, which I paid. I opted to study here out of all the colleges since B schools are very costly and I came from a middle-class household, so I felt this institution would be the greatest fit for me because, at the end of the day, an MBA degree was all that mattered to me. Plus I live in Guwahati, so Tezpur is pretty close to my homecity.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Finance and accounting, economics, data analytics, and other essential topics like strategy planning and entrepreneurship were all covered in my course. The MBA Syllabus focuses on instilling management and entrepreneurial abilities and is separated into four semesters, each of which focuses on a different element. Project work, seminars, research, report writing, industry training, as well as vivas, class presentations, and weekly examinations are all part of the curriculum. This helped us perform well in our internals, which in turn helped us do well in our university examinations since credit scores were applied to our external tests.
Placement Experience :
Our campus' placement rate isn't the best, but it's also not the worst. The placement cell does everything it can to link us with recruiters and find us jobs. The average annual salary is between 3.5 lakhs and 10 lakhs. Wipro, HCL, Apollo, ICICI, Axis Bank, and HDFC are among the many firms that often come.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
For two years, I paid a total of 160000 INR. We had four semesters in all. The tuition rates were about 15,000 INR, with additional expenses of around 80,000 INR, which comprised campus fees and fees for various college amenities. We didn't have any campus employment available, but we did have merit-based scholarships and financial aid for those who needed it.
Campus Life :
Greenery surrounds the school, giving it a fresh feel. It offers the impression of being at home. For a sports fan like myself, there are amenities such as a football field, cricket pitch, badminton court, swimming pool, volleyball court, and so on. We have NCC, sports, and a variety of clubs that can be included in the extracurricular activities category. The central library is rather large, and it houses all of our books, theses, and periodicals. Our college's annual TechXetra festival, held in October, is a mix of technical, managerial, and cultural events.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel's amenities are excellent, and there are plenty of chairs available. We offer a total of 12 hostels, including 7 for females and 5 for guys. My hostel room was twin-sharing and fairly big, with all of the essentials. We provide a common room, clean and sanitary restrooms with washing machines, a canteen, a parking lot, and security 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The mess facilities is nice, with sanitary and tasty meals. There are two kitchens: one for the main kitchen, which prepares hostel meals, and one for students. The hostel's staff is likewise excellent.
