Remarks :
I applied to XIME Bangalore, IMT Nagpur, Christ Bangalore. But I chose Welingkar because of its performance as a B-school and its ranking. No, I didn't avail any Quota. Minimum marks were 80% in any of the MBA entrance exams. The admission process was pretty cool.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose the course because I had prior interests in it. I don't have any idea about the Faculty: students ratio All the faculties are highly qualified, Almost all have done a doctorate. Exams were scheduled as per trimesters.
Internships Opportunities :
All roles from marketing, HR, finance, operations are offered. Companies like Nestle, Puma, Britannia and a whole lot of them come on campus for internships. Various opportunities are offered to the students.
Placement Experience :
Students become eligible after the 4th trimester. Various companies come on campus like Amazon, Godrej, Colgate, HUL, KPMG, Delloite, etc. The highest package goes as high as 25 Lakhs. 96% of students are placed.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The cost of study at Welingkar is absolutely feasible. I guess everyone who wants to go for MBA definitely won't find it a problem to pay the fees here I have currently joined the institute and haven't yet started with the course. So I can only provide the details after my MBA ends.
Campus Life :
There are various activities in the college like the weinnovate, weyapar, etc. There is an innovation cell where students come together to throw their ideas. There are Hackathons held as well and various other cross college competitions. Students immersion programs are also held.
Interview Experience :
PI didn't have specific topics. It was personality based and a bit on current affairs. There was PIQ i.e. personality interview questionnaire, then PI. There was no GD. I prepared through my academic books and other sources.
