WeSchool experience as a new joinee

Remarks :

I secured admission at Welingkar through CMAT. The cutoff was 80 percentile. The interview process was very smooth and seamless. The college contacted me before each round for a reminder. The first round was a pre-interview questionnaire that tests your thinking process, creativity, and personality. Post which there is the interview. Apart from telling me about yourself, the most common question is 'Explain the order of your course preferences' You need to justify why you chose that course and its order. Most of the interview was around the application. Questions for me revolved around my work ex, final year project, and learnings from my hobbies. The panelists make it a very comfortable and friendly environment. No stress at all. It feels like a conversation.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Retail is an industry that is expected to grow by 84% by 2024. With the pandemic, the sector got even more boom especially e-commerce. The course is designed to accommodate the current and future changes of the sector. The teachers are pioneers in their fields. Sadly because of covid lectures are being conducted online but that being said the quality of knowledge is nothing less.

Internships Opportunities :

The preparation for internships starts in 1st trimester and by the end of it, the summer internships would begin. For the current year, October is the month when all the interviews will happen for internships, and around May-June, we'll be doing our internships.

Placement Experience :

The preparation for interviews and placements starts immediately after your 4th trimester. And way before your final exams, you have a job in your hand. A lot of leading firms come for placements including Deloitte, Infosys, TCS etc. across specializations. The placements are common for everyone. 100% of students got placed last year and even during covid, the placements at the institute were not affected. The average package is around 9 Lakh rupees. Be assured to get a good job by the end of your course.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees for a 2 year full time program is 11 lakhs, which is almost similar to other institutions in this belt. A good variety of job roles are provided at the campus and the college has a 100% placement record. The average package is around 9 Lakhs. You also get a lot of live project opportunities as well as summer internships from campus

Campus Life :

The institute adapted to technology during covid really well. The entire library is digitalized. We have a vast collection of newspapers, articles, and reseach papers available. Newspapers from almost 55 different countries are available for students to read. A lot of course specific clubs, magazines and associations are present in the college of which one can be a part and make the most of their time at WeSchool.

Companies like Deloitte, PWC are there any also companies by Tata, Birla, Ambani are also there. But we careful of companies which promises salary but are fake.
