Remarks :
College environment is good if you want to learn and student you can achieve heights of success from here. But if you indulge in wrong doings then you can easily destroy it here. You will get lots of opportunity for so your potential and college will you out also financially. Bad thing is no alumini students interaction, senior and junior interaction is almost zero.
Entrance Preview :
JEE or direct admission, admission can be through JEE marks and direct admission 50+% in 12 classIf you have good marks in jee then you can get scholarship also.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Theory + labs Focus on theory is more than lab. But you can access labs anytime during college hour. Good no of computer labs with every possible facilities. Theory course structure is average like other engineering college. You have to write notes in copy or you can access library for subject books.
Internships Opportunities :
No. There is no as such internship provided by college. You have to find companies by your own. You will get no stipend during Internship few people may get a stipend of 6-7 k in some good company.
Placement Experience :
Placements are good in MBA - almost 100% average 3. 5 lakhs HM - almost 100%Btech - CS/IT/EC 50-60% ME/CE very few get placed and most of them prepare for GATE after college Companies like Infosys (80 students - 3. 25lpa), Wipro (100 students - 3. 15lpa)Capgemini (50+ - 3. 15lpa)Sapient (50- 5 LPA)Hyundai, Samsung, everest, SAP, CS, etc etc.
College Events :
Gra Fest September - 3 days - cultural events, musical theater events, DJ night, technical events etc etc Gra Fest april - it is the best fest in utrrakhand that I can guarantee you. 3 days Day 1) musical nights where celebrity from Bollywood or Punjabi songs come to preform Day 2) DJ night - DJ like sunburn, Edward Maya, and top nation DJ comes. Day 3) musical night - top current celebrity will come to preform like in 2015 arijit singh performed, before that honey singh etc etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Fee it around 65 thousand per semester. 65 thousand including all transportation + library + medical insurance + sports fee. 80 thousand for hostel which I cludes 2 sharing + 3 sharing Hostel facilities are really good Hot water 24*7, with 4*like rooms and toilets, gym, library, TV rooms, and excellent mess.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Scholarships are for uttrakhand domiciles 20% fee relax. You can contact bank for loan facilities we have pnb bank inside college so you can avail loans from there also. college staff will also help you to get loan.
Campus Life :
Campus life is good, geneder ratio is approx 2:3 ( girls to boy), most of the people are dehradun localites or from hilly areas so diversity is very less but gender diversity is very good. Student can hang up with friends in Dehradun there are many places near by like musoorie, Fri, guchupani etc Workshops are conducted 2-3 times in one semester Tolerance with regard to gender is good. people have good friend circle with boys and girls they spent good times in college together
Hostel Facilities :
Hotel rooms are like 3* -4* hotels with attached toilet and 24*7 hot water. Daily cleaning of rooms is done. Hostel fee is 80 k for one year Hotels have library, gym, tv room, sports room, and a very good mess. With 1 week menu and food is healthy and cooked with continuous vigilance. but after 1 year you will not be able to bear the same food again and again and will order food from outside.
Alumni/Alumna :
Alumini network is very vast they are from top companies and in very good positions MD, COO etc. There is very less interaction with aluminies almost zero and also with seniors because of very strict anti ragging policy adhered by college so if you are here forget about any seniority or junior you all are same even 1 st and 4th year student treat each other same like friend no respect for senior this is only thing I hated about college.
Exam Structure :
Mid sem + End sem, labs, seminar presentation Mid sem exams are less hectic with 2 hours pattern End sem exams with with 3 hours pattern 1 days gapin every examExams are directly from notes in class Need not to worry about it its a piece of cake here.
Faculty :
Faculty are generally from its and nits.intellectually they are good in their field and very friendly but they will not give you extra time apart from college hour. Btech faculties good and management faculties are best. Cs/it faculties are same Civil faculties are helping but pedagogy is not good same for mechanical.
