Remarks :

The process for MDI started with the CAT exam, post which the shortlisting for PI was done based on CAT score and other academic and work experience related information. Students were made to fill a form detailing extracurricular activities, achievements, etc. that they had in the past. Soft copies of documents were also asked before the PI day. There was one common PI for all the programs of MDI and the final allotment of course was done based on the final merit rank of the students.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Most of the faculties have research oriented mindset and they bring that to the class. We are encouraged to work on multiple projects in various subjects and the faculties provide assistance in the project work too. The faculties lay emphasis on their subjects and are committed to even take up extra classes or doubt clearing sessions on 1-1 basis if that is required at any point in time.

Internships Opportunities :

Core and HR students get the opportunity to sit for summer placements where most of the reputed companies in all the domains come and recruit the students for various roles like Prod Man, Analytics, Operations, Gen Man, Marketing and Sales, Finance, etc. The best performers of the internship are also provided PPOs and PPIs. The IB students have the opportunity to intern in Europe or India as it suits them. They also have the opportunity to get PPOs and PPIs through their internships.

Placement Experience :

The college is proud of its placement records. The best of the companies in all the domains come to the campus for the summer placements as well as final placements. IB students also have the opportunity to be placed abroad through their internship performance. The median stipend and median salary have been comparable to the top B-schools in the country and the college has been successful to consistently place all the students over the years.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The International Business program has one year of stay at any of the campuses of ESCP Europe in the second year. Students are encouraged to intern in Europe for a minimum of 4-6 months to get the International exposure that is intended in the course. The course fee of IB is 3-4 lakh more than the course fee of Core or HR MBA. But the expenses in Europe have to be borne by the students themselves.

Campus Life :

We're yet to go to campus. Everything's happening online for now. The induction happened online and so are also the classes happening right now. All the club activities to are restricted to online mediums. So no comments on this question for now.

Hostel Facilities :

We are yet to go to the hostels. Due to COVID restrictions in Gurgaon, the college hasn't opened yet and we are yet to go to the campus. The college hasn't collected hostel fees yet as we are not availing of its services right now.

Interview Experience :

There was only a PI round due to the prevalent COVID situation. The panel had two faculties of the college and they asked 4-5 questions about me, my family and my educational background. There were questions on my graduation stream as well although I've work experience. The interview lasted for around 20-22 minutes.

Top recruiters as I can remember are BHEL, DRDO, HONDA, Philips, NTPC, The Times of India, Tech Mahindra, Tech Mahindra, Airtel, etc. The highest salary package offered was Rs.10 LPA and an average salary of Rs.3 LPA was offered in our final placement program. We had a separate cell of internship cell and also the task performance cell. Remarks:

One of the reasons for this could be the geographical proximity of the institute since it was pretty close to my house. The constant assistance we got from the faculty members served on top of a top-notch infrastructure. Everyone is pretty friendly here and the social life is pretty decent. Corporate exposure is magnificent.

Admission:

Admission process is pretty straight forward and easy. Admissions are granted on a direct basis. I applied to the college in the offline format. After that I appeared for an interview round. For document verification, you need to produce all your academic documents like 10th, 12th, graduation, and any other valid document.

Placement Experience:

Placement cell is dedicated to bridging the gap between the students and recruiters. Companies visit the campus in order to recruit students for a number of profiles including consultant, sales executive, financial management, etc. Companies which generally visit our campus include Genpact, ICICI, HDFC, Bharti Airtel, etc.

Remarks:

Our college is good in terms of faculty but the campus needs to be developed more in terms of the facilities being provided to the students like physical environment like canteen development otherwise if we talk about teaching pedagogy it adopts case study method which is the best way of understanding the practical situation and its good in terms of placements also.
