Nice college

Remarks :

First an application form was filled by me, then had to take an entrance test and which followed by reviewing my application and exam score which leaded me to a telephonic interview where I was asked why I wanted to do PGPDM course with IIDE? And then final 1 personal Interview was conducted and then confirmation of admission was given.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum is engaging and fun. It's full of practical knowledge. The faculty makes the teaching fun and not boring. We also have lots of in class activity with helps to learn difficult topics in an easy way.

Internships Opportunities :

I haven't taken any internship yet, as I am already working as a freelancer but I am also a part of the IIDE freelancers committee which helps to explore with the clients of different brands and agencies. But soon looking forward to picking an internship.

Placement Experience :

IIDE provides 2 months of compulsory internship after their final project. Where in between students can take up internships of their choice. After some hands on experience, IIDE recommends and give placements to their students according to their mastered field.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

If anyone wanted to opt for a scholarship, the eligibility criteria were that one should have scored a minimum of 7.5 on 10 in the last appeared exam can apply. The fees taken includes everything, even the tools we use in lecture or ads run by us are paid by the college itself as it's all included in the fees.

Campus Life :

I am a part of the freelancer's committee which is recently started by IIDE. We also have many virtual gatherings on zoom call to chill and have IIDE nights where college orders food for us and play games. Before the pandemic there use to be a lot of events on campus but now everything is virtual on zoom.

Interview Experience :

Yes, 1 entrance test was taken of 40 mins based on subjective questions like aptitude, communication, acumen, GK, current affairs, etc. Then the telephonic interview was taken place and then in Final Personal Interview task was given which had to be done during the interview and other questions were asked for the same.

Placement Experience:

There is a dedicated placement cell that looks at the placements of MBA students. The final year students sit for placements. Until now the placements are not so good but it is improving at a steady rate. Companies such as Accenture, Deloitte, Flipkart, Amazon, ICICI Bank and others come for placements. I don’t have a clear idea about the packages offered but it was around 7-8 LPA on an average.

Placement Experience:

Placements here are decent. The average package of the batch is around 8 lakhs, which is nice considering the pandemic. A lot of good companies visit the campus like Goldman Sachs, Ernst, and Young, KPMG, Deloitte, etc. So, if you perform well here then you can get a good placement from the campus.

College is a little fast paced. Each semester lasts only for 3 months where we have to study 8 subjects in addtion to assignment, presentation, class tests.Social life gets affected if you are a localite as you have to travel to powai which isn't well connected via metro and railways.

Entrance Preview:

I got admission on the bases of my undergraduate scores which was very good. Admission process of this college was good and very simple.

Placement Experience:

Companies like JP Morgan, KPMG, PWC, E&Y have come to the campus and offered 10000/- to 20000/- monthly stipend. I have attended roughly one of those. Regretfully, I cannot provide you with the details of the number of students placed and the exact amount offered because I was not a member of the placement cell. But the college had a placement cell which conducted weekly meetings and trained the students for interviews.
