Remarks :

Good college for students who really want to experience practical knowledge and industry exposure. Placements are also good as compared to other colleges in pune. This is best college for MBA program in pune.

Course Curriculum Overview :

IIMP is an autonomous institute affiliated by Pune university. They have included many practical based case studies and knowledge in their curriculum. Exams are also having practical based questions. This enables students to get ready for industry exposure.

Placement Experience :

College is good in terms of both summer internship placements and final placements. More than 50 companies visit the campus every year for placements. For internships maximum companies provide stipends. 5000-6000 is average stipend for internships.

College Events :

This college hosts value-adding events for students like Brand Slam in which managers from various companies share their experiences with students. They also have event names as World Marketing Congress in which Managers and CEOs of global companies guide students. They also have annual day. Various cultural programmes also happen in this college.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee structure is quite expensive. Total fees are 2.5 Lakhs per annum. In this 2 Lakhs are college fees and 50 thousand are career development programme fees. In the career development programme they provide training for all placement activities and personal development.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

All government scholarships are provided in this college. The scholarship department is very helpful with students. They guide everyone from form filling to documents attaching for the scholarship application. They don't provide any loan facility.

Campus Life :

This college is average in terms of extracurricular activities and sports. They provide chances for students to showcase their extra talents. But in comparison with other colleges, they have less sports activities.

Alumni/Alumna :

Seniors here are very helpful. College provides mentors from senior students to fresher students. These mentors guide fresher students in academics and other activities. College also has an alumni cell where they call successful alumni to give suggestions to the students.

Admission :

I always wanted to do my MBA from a well-known college in pune. I heard alot of good things about Indira institute of management from my friends and colleagues. So I decided to take admission in this college for my MBA program. Luckily I got good CET score and got admission here.

Faculty :

Faculty here is very good and supportive. Many faculties are industry experienced. Every faculty is highly qualified. They are always ready to guide their students. Some faculties are very friendly. They also help in problems other than academics.

Placement Experience:

The placements depend upon which Specialization you're in. If you're a marketing student there will be lots of good companies coming in for placements followed by finance and then HR. You become eligible for placement from 3rd semester. Companies such as Deloitte, PWC, TCS, HCL, etc. visit the campus for placements and offer a good amount of Packages.

SIBM Pune will give you ample opportunities to learn and grow

Placement Experience:

SIBM, Pune takes placement of its students very seriously. From the 2nd trimester, we had companies visiting us for internships. More than 95% of students have got internships. We had both MNCs as well as growing startups visiting our campus. The highest package offered last year was around Rs. 36 lakh/annum.

In 2020, SIBM saw some of its best placements, as it does every year. The students received 191 offers, including 63 pre-placement offers. The sectors that participated in the placements were FMCG/FMCD, Conglomerates, BFSI, Technology, and Consulting. Rs.28 LPA was the highest CTC. Abbott India Limited, Asian Paints Limited, Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals Ltd., Dell, EMC, and GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare Ltd. were among the companies that took part.
