Remarks :
Doon Business School, Dehradun is ranked 27 as per India Today?Ûªs recent ranking this factor caught my attention while I was searching for good B.B.A colleges. I visited the official website of the college and click on the ?Û÷Admission?Ûª tab. Then I filled the application form and created a log-in password. After logging-in, I filled all the required details and paid the application fee of ?â_1,000 through credit card. I was also asked to submit my 12th marksheet scoring 75%. After getting a call from the college, I was selected on the basis of group discussion and personal interview.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum committed me to discover and develop my personal strengths, build core business knowledge, sharpen analytical and critical thinking skills and lead high performing teams. I had exams in every semester on a regular basis and the exams are average in difficulty level. All the faculty members are well experienced in teaching. All the faculty have good knowledge about their subjects. The college is affiliated from Uttarakhand state university which provides so many courses at efficient fees.
Internships Opportunities :
It offered me internship in the country Singapore and Dubai, their boarding, hotel & journey work along with stipend is all taken care of by the company. The international internships are arbitrary and can only be availed by the management students.
Placement Experience :
Employability & placements was my key focus to get here. They have a career development cell that helped me to get overall guidance under an experienced placement coordinator. I grabbed a campus placement in marketing department and learned to build strong corporate relationships and skill-building efforts.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
My BBA was for 3 years for which I paid tuition fees per semester costing approximately ?â_70,000, the admission fees was around ?â_20,000 and other fees approximately ?â_25000. Books expenses around ?â_5000 per semester, for total 3 years I paid approximately ?â_5,00,000. I didn't get the scholarship but I got a financial aid help that reduced pressure of my fees.
Campus Life :
The sport events are interwoven with academics that kept me on the toes, literally. Football, cricket, basketball, badminton, and pool are some of the much-awaited sports events that happened periodically. A state-of-art Auditorium, Conference room & Activity Hall provided a conducive environment for conducting events like conferences, seminars, workshops, debates, quizzes, meetings, etc.
Hostel Facilities :
The college comprises of a central library and 1 departmental library that collectively support the teaching, research and extension programs of the Institute. Library currently houses over 25000 Volumes of books and 20000 e-books. For the convenience of the non-resident students and staff members, the institute arranges a sufficient number of buses at nominal rates. The room were semi -furnished with attached washrooms.
Admission :
I was called for the personal interview round. There were two invisilators that asked me few questions on general knowledge that I asked confidentally. Then I was asked why I want to join their college.
