Remarks

It was very easy and simple. I met with the professors of my department and some seniors. The admission process was very smooth. I haven't availed of any quota for admission. The accommodation was provided by the college. They ensured a comfortable stay. There are various opportunities provided by the college to explore your interest in whatever field you like. There are many clubs both technical and non technical which you can be a part of based on your interest.

Course Curriculum Overview

There are two sessionals held for internals and assignments held every other week. The sessionals are scored out of 15 marks each for each subject. There are four assignments for five marks each in-between.

Internships Opportunities

There are good internship options provided by the college. You can also apply for internships outside based on your interest. It is very advantageous to utilize the vacations doing internships. They will add great value to your resume.

Placement Experience

There are quite a few companies that have visited so far like Microsoft, Accenture, cognizant, Goldman Sachs. I plan on pursuing higher studies after my degree. A lot of students get placed and the college provides good support with the placement and other options.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are some AICTE scholarships and scholarships given by the college based on the muoet rank. You can also avail of student loans through the government's Vidyalakshmi Portal. The cost to study is similar to most premium institutes across the country.

Campus Life

There is a tech fest in the odd semester and a cultural fest in the even semester every year. Anybody can participate in the events. There are multiple technical and non technical clubs. You can be a part of it as per your interest. They also participate in competitions in colleges across the countries. The technical clubs give you a lot of experience and practical understanding. The non technical clubs are a great way to explore your interests and meet people with similar interests.

Hostel Facilities

There are different hostels varying from a single room to a double sharing, triple sharing. There are both AC and non AC rooms. There are a lot of apartments nearby to rent within walkable distance to the college. The food in the mess is of good quality.

Student become eligible for campus selection in their third semester like I in the sector semester will have someone internships where students will get to know about the industry they will work for many companies in internship and then they will be eligible for the interviews in the 4th year itself like the last two semesters the companies visitor in BMS College of engineering Amazon Google Microsoft and top companies all that all the most top companies because the strength of VMS College of engineering + killed students are very high percentage of students getting placed is like 7030 as in the 30% many of them of 2 highest teddy and some of them do research and other stuff so I would say 70% of them get placed and 30% of them do highest studies place do business and other stuff like star startups mostly I also do higher studies in doing MBA or masters in other fields of interest if I get a good placement I will do job for 1 hour 2 years and then do highest studies

Manipal, Student Life You Do Not Want To Miss

I applied for PES and VIT besides manipal and was able to secure a seat in both of them but chose MIT over these colleges because it is more credible and from research provides better packages, courses and options.
