Remarks :

Offline process. You have to carry your 10 and 12 mark sheets with you at the time of admission. Merit list is disclosed on university website . There are quotas for sc , st , obc . I applied for no quota. I got admission on first merit list with 89%. There are approx 6-7 merit lists that are announced by the college and can be even more depending on the course.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose the course because it was of my interest. There is good faculty and many activities and seminars are conducted along with the regular classes. Teachers are very helpful. The teaching method however was mostly lecture cum discussion-based, There is one internal and one external examination in one semester along with one assignment submission.

Class Size : 40Course Fees : INR 6000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Scholarships are provided mainly to migrants, however, the fees structure is very nominal. The fees for any course provided by the college is not more than 12 thousand per year and is starting from 5 thousand per year for some courses as well.

Campus Life :

The name of the anual fest is SRIJAN. Also, there is a seperate fest for every individual department. A very good library is set up inside the college and students can anytime issue the books. Many co-curricular activities and sports are also encouraged in the college, a special sports day is also organized every year.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course content and structure is very good. Not only is it super practical, it takes a toll on the student to actually study in order to pass. Mugging up doesn't make a student pass in srcc. You need to study. Negatives are it is a very heavy course sometimes so we can't do a lot of societies with it that bcom students can do.

Discovering ARSD (student version)

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was really interested in English as a subject ever since I was a child and when I was in 11th I decided to pursue the language in depth. I think the course is really good it gives you insight in literature from different partsof the world . It is the best course if your objective is to build a strong base in english for further studies. The curriculum is relevant with the present market. It prepares us for the the different career paths. The frequency of exams is pretty good and gives us enough time to learn different thing along with aur core subjects. I would personally rate the difficulty level of exams 7/10.

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for college placements from the 5th semester. I remember Genpact and Decathalon coming to our college. The average package ranged from 2,50,000 to 4,00,000. The placement cell also organizes an internship fair every year for which students are eligible from the third semester. The percentage of students getting placed is moderate. Around 35% to 40% of students got placements. My plan was to study further and go on with my masters in English.
