Remarks :

I secured air 587 in IIT Jam 2021 from chemistry subject and I was alloted IIT Patna for MSc Chemistry in 3rd round of Jam counselling. I choose IIT Patna because it has one of the SAIFs set up by the DST India gov. Also, it has a good ranking in Nature Index Rank among the IITs I was supposed to get. Further seniors and my mentors also suggest me this college.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Faculty are maxim. Abroad precisely among 11 faculty members, 9 are from abroad. The total strength of our batch is 30 and the faculty members are 11. Exam, as usual, is rigorous in the IIT system mid sem exams, end sem exam, surprise quizzes and continuous evaluation.

Class Size : 30Course Fees : INR 60000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

IIT Patna has various collaborations with various foreign universities. Also, a huge number of companies visited the campus and offered internships. But MSc students are indulged in their project works and mainly remain focused on that rather than placements.

Placement Experience :

My first plan is to get a job in PSU via Gate. If this does not go well I would prefer to do Phd in IITs, IISC, IISERS etc. If that also does not go well. I will try for campus placements. The average salary offered to chemistry students in 2020-2021 is 7 lacs per annum.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Yes, various company visits here for MSc Chemistry and according to the official data the avg. Salary for MSc Chemistry in the year 2020-21 is 7Lacs/annum. As a matter of scholarship Iam slight unaware of that. But the cost for MSc is quite affordable if studied via offline mode for 2 years it will cost nearly 1.2 lacs for 2 years for MSc courses.

Campus Life :

As we are an online batch for now practically we have seen nothing but all the Vedios in your tubes seems to be mesmerizing annual fest name is Anwesha. All the facilities are there on the campus itself starting from barbershops to shopping complexes hospitals, canteens, bus facilities within intra campus travel. Also, the classrooms are also well versed with IIT needs.

Hostel Facilities :

Meals are as usual like in every IITs, in a room a bed, cupboard, baranda, study table, the chair is there. Lifts are also available in the hostels. The messes of the respective hostels are within their ground floor. All are alloted with the hostel and all the facilities within the campus.

Hostel Fee : INR 13000 per year

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose geology as my future because I always like to study about the world that we are living ,how they are formed,how they are changing. The curriculum provide much information about the current world and as well as the past world and the changes between them and what is the reason behind that. Course Curriculum Overview:

In my case for research, M.Sc. is required so I went for it. In the physics department, there are seven faculties and students per year are almost 30. All facilities were highly qualified in their respective fields and had lots of research publications in their hand. There were two-term exams and one mid-term and one end-term in a semester. In general, case to pass any exams we have to understand the topics, and the best beauty of the institution is that the professors are good at that. So it depends on the students. In my case moderately too hard to pass exams.
