Remarks :

JIMS played a vital role in grooming and upgrading my skills. The Institute schedules various guest lectures and industrial visits to upgrade the student according to industrial standards. The faculty is very cooperative in providing quality education to the students for past 25 years. Institute also provide with internships in top companies to give an insight of MNCs. The Institute also provides placements in various companies like TCS, Wipro, HCL, Amazon and many more. I got placed in TCS from Institute and currently working as IT Analyst in TCS. The overall experience with JIMS was a good experience.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The exams are conducted every semester to check the student's capability. The level of exams are moderate and they are not very difficult or very easy. Exams also plays very important role in grooming vocabulary and inventing new ideas in every field.

Internships Opportunities :

The Institute helped in preparing various projects which will help to learn new technologies and also to adapt with various new technologies in future. It helped me a lot in my placements at various companies and also provided a great insight to work in corporate environment.

Placement Experience :

My plan after getting the degree is to do a job in multi national company in IT industry. The Institute provides me a great exposure to industries in industrial visits and helped me to achieve great heights in IT industry.

Fees and Financial Aid :

I got campus placement in TCS and currently working as IT Analyst. My current package is 1.9LPA. The average placement package provided by Institute is 4 LPA for freshers. The average package while intership is 7k per annum.

Campus Life :

The Institute has official Facebook page to increase social networking with top MNCs which is adversely beneficial for students in providing placements. The Institute also has various clubs for geooming extra curricular skills of students.

Interview Experience :

I was groomed by faculties of my Institute to prepare for the rounds. Faculties also provided with the mock interviews in Institute to prepare for corporate interviews. The college also provided with the questions which are frequently asked in interviews.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is good and well described. The syllabus of each subject is well detailed the syllabus teaches the subject in detail. The syllabus is prescribed by the university as of now, and there are a lot of languages that are being taught in the BCA department, but a student has to focus only on specific languages and one domain and focus on that domain only to to succeed in that domain. The area for improvements are some of the subjects are not useful for the students. For example, the mandatory subjects like accountancy don't help much for BCA students. The exams are conducted after five months of the semester start. The internal exams are held after half of the syllabus is complete and half of the unit come in the internal exam, whereas in the external exam, the full syllabus comes.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Main thing which made me decide to choose bca from this college was because of easy accessable admission and im personally interested in computer science and this college was best for that thing. The education topics are well updated not something which is useless to learn everything which is utile is being taught here. Although no matter how good a thing is there is always a room for improvement, there are some topics which were important before but now they are no more usefull but we still have to learn them which isn't a good thing so it should be removed removing new topic is as removing outdated ones. Frequency of exams is just right twice a year with atleast 5 months of gap between each one , providing enough time to prepare for them and difficulty level should not be that hard If u have prepared for it .

Placement Experience:

The college will provide the placements in the placement drive. Almost all the students got placed with a decent amount of money in their hands and those who don't want to be placed they opt for higher studies. From semester 5 they become eligible for campus placements. TCS, INFOSYS, WIPRO HCL, etc. are the companies mostly visited and they are offered according to the student's caliber. The highest package is 6 LPA and the average is 4 LPA. Almost 90% of students get placed. After completing my course I will try to get a good-paying job if not then I will do MCA.

Admission:

All the students would be required to submit several documents including class 10th examination certificate, class 10th and 12th mark sheets, character certificate, class 12th provisional certificate, ST/SC certificate, OBC certificate, transfer certificate from school along with the migration certificate (in case the student has done his/her schooling from outside Delhi) and three passport size photographs self-attested by the student.

Placement Experience:

10% of students in our course got placed, and the rest of them go for research work and for higher studies. The highest salary package offered in our course is 15 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA. About 40% of students got an internship in companies InfoAdda, Travel Triangle, PepsiCo, Realme and Oneplus.
