Remarks :

The institute offers Ph.D course to build international scholars. Besides, the campus life of the institute is good. PG degree with at least 60% marks followed by BHU-RET score and PI is necessary for the admission. RET exam is conducted in the month of June every year and the result of it is declared in the second week of July.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The three years course is a blend of research works and thesis submission. Minimum one and half year is needed to submit the project work and one and half year is for thesis. If a candidate can't submit thesis work within the scheduled time, he or she may get a one year grant for the submission. The faculty members are stalwarts in their respective fields.

Placement Experience :

The institute offered highest and average CTC of INR 15 LPA and 7 LPA respectively for 2019-2020 session. Some top recruiting domains are - Consulting, IT, BFSI etc. Some top recruiting companies are - Infosys, Coal India, ICICI Bank etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The total fee structure of this course is INR 3 lacs. The institute provides contingency grant for the fellowship students. Besides, the institute also gives award to the fellowship students according to their academic performance.

Campus Life :

BHU campus has a zeal that spreads among the students of the institute. The institute has separate sports arena, hostel facility, medical facility etc in the campus. Some fests like - Kashi Yatra, Spardha, Technex etc are celebrated in the campus.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placement only after giving their internal thesis defense. The placements generally reveolve arounf the teaching profession. PhD students are not allowed to sit fr corporate placements.

Entrance Preview:

Passed UGC-NET and JRF-2012 with 78 percent score. Now, doing research here as PhD Research Scholar since 2012.I opted for BHU because, it is one of the oldest and best universities in India. Being a part of BHU means you gain exposure to several branches of knowledge.

Placement Experience:

IT offers excellent placements. For the the past three years the the average percentage of total students who were successfully placed is 90 %. BHU offers great return on investment with least pay back period. Also, the students performance at workplace motivates employers to visit the campus year after year.
