Remarks :

I applied for the MGKVP and the reason for not attending their counseling is because I got the chance in BHU. General category students can avail EWS quota for the entrence.Minimum age for admission is 22 years of age and minimum marks is depend on the cut-off of the year like in my time general cut-off for b.com(hons.) Is 280. The admission process was too smoth they call you for the counseling where you have to fill a form and paste various important documents which is asked for the time of admission of process by this you will be provisionally admited to the university. After that you will called by the officials to submit your original documents which were required for the admission in any college.

Course Curriculum Overview :

In 12th I have choosen commerce and I wanted to proceed with it that's why I choose to study b.com(Hons.) so I applied for the entrance exam of BHU I got selected and get the chance to study in this precious University. The faculty was way better than it showed to students much much better professor are students friendly and the BHU staff is students friendly everything is just too good and the students ratio is also very good in Banaras Hindu University various class religion caste and from various places students come here to get hire education. Qualification of the faculty of way good and the teaching methods are also great professor interect with students soo much and it makes the environment of study excellent. There is 6 semester in b.com(hons.) 3 year course means in 1 year there are 2 semesters and 2 exams conducted by the faculty in a year. The exams are not simple and not much hard it just medium if I say.

Internships Opportunities :

I don't know the name yet because in my case there were no companies hiring for any jobs. Campus placements are not great in Banaras Hindu University because I haven't seen any company for the campus placement.

Placement Experience :

Campus placements are not very much active in Under Graduate programs the campus placement here is very low here. The students placed under campus placement are very low. The percentage of students getting placements is as low as 10% to 15%. My plan is to get higher education from Banaras Hindu University first I will apply for M.com and then I will try to crack NEET(JRF) to get into Ph.D. at Banaras Hindu University.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee was too low in the first year you have to pay just 2325 rupees and in second year it is just 1700 rupees and the third year it is same as second year that is 1700 rupees. There is no hike in fees for the students of Banaras Hindu University. There are two scholarship which you can apply by the University that is NATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM (NSP) and UTTAR PRADESH SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM (UP scholarship). NSP is given at national level and UP scholarship is given as state level a student can apply for these two options but only at one scholarship not for two. You can be a part of NCC and NSS if you want there is whole other process I if want to apply in these two programs.

Campus Life :

The anual fest in the university is conducted by the IIT(BHU) students every year named "kashi yatra" and it just truly amazing If I say they conduct kashi yatra that is usually held in January every year. Banaras Hindu University have Asia's largest library by this you can get the idea of the availability of books and journals in the library. If you entered in the classroom you can just tell by looking in the classroom it just great. There are various sports played by the students of Banaras Hindu University and soo much extra carricular activities on the campus for example dance music language etc. There are social groups and clubs for the students of Banaras Hindu University that is run by students one example of this is "youth parliament".

Hostel Facilities :

There is not much facility provided in the hostal room just two beds and 1 table and chair. The hostal mess are good and the quality of meal is also good and menu are not of much variety. The registration process of hostal is also quite easy first of all you have to choose yes/no in the application form by then you will be applicable to get a hostal and then by your rank you will allot your hostal. The hostal is very affordable in Banaras Hindu University. There is no shortage of PG in nearby locality but I never rented a PG in locality.

Interview Experience :

There are 15 topics in the BHU b.com(hons.) entrence exam and 150 questions will be asked as Multiple Choice Questions 10 Questions from each topics and the topics are mostly covered in our 11th and 12th class. The admission process is very easy they will first call you for the counseling where you have to fill a form and submit various documents and then you will be provisionally admited to the university and then you wil be called for the submission of original documents.I have done a coaching for the preparation of BHU B.com at carier launcher they help me a lot.

Other Applied Colleges

Mahatama Gandhi kashi Vidyapeeth | B.com(hons.)

Because BHU is best option if you compare way much better.

Course Curriculum Overview:

b.com as a course is more finance related and I wanted to do a financial course that's why I choose b.com. on the other hand bba was a professional course that includes Marketing and other related aspects as well which I wasn't muchh into. I want to persue bba from finance so it was a good to go for me. Teaching timetables needs a bit of improvement though since It's my first semester the time table is really bad, class are from 8am to 11pm only and any cultural activities starts from 1pm or 2 pm. I don't know what should one do in the mean time apart frm sitting in the canteen.

Placement Experience:

The average package from management courses is 6-7 lacks after a bachelors degree. And 11 to 12 lacs for a master's degree. 6 out of 10 students get placed under companies. A lot of good companies have visited for the placement. And many have got what they were looking for. My plans after my degree are to do an internship for a few months and then pursue my further studies.
