Everything you need to know about BVP (BBA)

Remarks :

BVIMR was the only college I applied for to get admission into the college you have to score a good rank in its entrance test, that is BUMAT.It is generally said that the admission process continues to around 2000 rank. I scored 168 ranks. It is a very good college and has a valued degree for BBA. After the entrance, there is only an orientation in which students who are eager to take admission to college can get their admissions finalized.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The faculty is very knowledgeable. student faculty ratio is 1:14. All the teachers provide great understanding of the topic in deep. However, every teacher has their own way of teaching and putting things up, but still, they were able to teach complex terms with easy understanding. Even during the covid situations and after late stat to college, our first semester exams weren't much late as compared to other colleges.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees are pretty much high as compared to IP college but low as compared to other private colleges with A+ accredition from NAAC. However, the college doesn't offer any scholarship programs, which is kind of a backdrop at the college level

Campus Life :

The campus is pretty huge actually it is an 8-acre campus with a big green area and 3-4 college canteens. College also has many societies like dance, theatre, art, etc. Apart from all that, BVIMR also organizes it's fest Rennaisance, which is pretty magnificent and huge and so well-organized

Course Curriculum Overview:

As my Course is a professional so the ciriculum is really good and it's based on real life as well however teaching hindi and some extra subjects which don't help us doesn't make sense to me and I believe that more focus should be given on development of communication skills.

Placement Experience:

Maharaja Surajmal Institute is value for money. Placements: Almost everybody in the BBA course were placed. The highest placement in 2024 is Rs. 7,50,000. The average package in 2024 is Rs. 3,50,000. Recruiting companies include Federal Bank, Upgrade, etc. Students who got the internship from Bachelois in Business Administration are less likely to get it, as college doesn't help. Infrastructure: The quality of infrastructure is very poor in Maharaja Surajmal Institute. The library and labs are good but the classrooms don't have ACs. The quality of food available in the canteen is average. Don't join this college if you want to excel in sports. Hostel quality is very poor too. You won't find ACs in rooms. Moreover, there are Indian toilets, which are outdated. Faculty: Few teachers are seriously irritating and focus more on attendance than the quality of their teaching. A BBA course, in my opinion, doesn't make you job-ready but gives a basic outline of the job role and responsibilities

Placement Experience:

Campus placements start the 5th semester onwards, although the package is very low given the current status of courses of BBA and BCom Hons in the country with not much scope in the market, also the amount of students getting placements is very low with some decent companies although my plans after getting a degree from here is to pursue MBA.
