Everything you need to know about BVIMR

Remarks :

I applied to bvimr colleges as I already did BBA from there and I knew that it has a great faculty and it is nearby my place too. I did not avail any quota as I am a general. The admission criteria of BVIMR is graduate or master's degree with a minimum of 50% marks aggregate and (45% for SC/ST candidates) from a recognized university or who is in the final year of their graduation or masters and who is an Indian National. With all these conditions, a student must clear the BMAT exam which is the all-India entrance test conducted by Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, Pune. Group Discussion and Personal Interview wasn't conducted due to covid situations. The admission process of the university was pretty smooth as everything was there online. They gave us enough time to submit the original documents as because of the pandemic the students were facing problems while arranging the same.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose to do MBA as I did Bachelor's in business management from the same college and the next best alternative for me was to do a master's in the same field as it will give me enough good opportunities and specialization in the marketing field which I always wanted to pursue too. Most of the teachers are Ph.D. scholars and have great experience and knowledge. Though the teaching style of every teacher differs from one another. There is a total of 3 CES, 2 internals, and 1 external for each subject and we have 5 subjects in total.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fees are quite decent if compared to other colleges, i.e. 6,50,000 for two years excluding examination fees which we have to submit at the time of the examinations itself. In the case of distance education, the fee is 60,000 which is much cheaper. There is a CRC team for our college that brings us numerous jobs and internships opportunities on campus with different types of profiles such as marketing, finance, human resource management, etc. and the student can select the company according to his/her preference and the stipend mostly depends on performance-based. Though I haven't seen any scholarships this year, which is pretty bad.

Campus Life :

Every year multiple fests and functions are organized in the university. Books and journals are easily available in the library for our assistance. Amenities such as air conditioners and smart classrooms are there in each and every classroom. There is a huge 8-acre campus with a football ground, where various sports-related events are conducted every year, Social groups such as ED Mantics for entrepreneurship cell, Netlinx for digital marketing society, and others societies for art and craft, music, drama, etc. are present in the college which is all student-driven and have a pretty good name in the field too

Campus placements of DMS IIT Delhi are better than baby and new IIMs for sure. Details about highest and lowest package can be referred in the DMS website. The data keeps upgrading every year. On average, students get a package of 25 lpa. Our college is known for 100 percent placements and experiencing such great summer internship opportunities with companies like HUL, Google and Mondelez International , I have no doubt about companies coming for final placement. After all, it is IIT DELHI.

Remarks:

The location of our college is very good. It is in Qutub Institutional Area in Delhi NCR. This gives vital advantage when it comes to extracurricular activities and gaining more exposure. Though we face competition from iims and lack brand name as big. But we gain sufficient exposure to overcome all this.

And the SIPs like only sales profile are coming. You have to sale like insurance, debit card credit card stock. You have to call some other people like cold calling etc. The stipend is performance based. 1000 or Max to Max 6000.
