It was interview session with Manju Nichani and the best question asked was what you would like to become 5 years down the line. I am happy what I committed I did it and it's 5 years now I chooses to become Media Planner and today I am here.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course is very good and the professors are the best. I learnt a lot from this course and the true experience of media world. The depth understanding of the subject in a way it is handled in corporate environment is what I learnt from this course.

Internships Opportunities :

They provided internship opportunities, but as it was part time course so lot many were on job already. I was already doing full time job so didn't required internship. But college is very supportive in helping students for job opportunities also.

Placement Experience :

It's quite well but they should be more active on the current opportunities from the industries related to the courses they offer. I liked the support provided by the college and it helped many of my friend with good offers. The faculty and office receptionist was very helpful at that period of time.

College Events :

We celebrated College events, and all cultural programs. We celebrated outing in Goa and enjoyed dinner and lunch with professors. There were cultural events also which was organised by the college. Also few celebrities visited in college to promote their movies and we had good time singing songs and having fun with them by clicking photos, selfies.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee structure was very feasible they have part payment option also and it was very convenient for students to pay. I never faced any problem in paying fees as it was as per rules and we followed it accordingly. They provided us with the certificates also on time so we can use it in our profession accordingly.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

No there was no scholarship and loan facility for this course as it was part time course and was for working professionals.

Campus Life :

Campus Life was awesome it was near Marine drive and I enjoyed a lot, some times bunking lecture was great fun and we had lot's of get together nearby. There were no labs and sports activity but we arranged it ourselves and enjoyed. Also, we use to have group projects on the spot in the lecture which helped us a lot in our organisation to work together as a team.

Hostel Facilities :

There was no Hostel and food facilities as I mentioned it was part time course and was for working professionals. But they have their canteen and the food was good, we enjoyed vada pao and samosa pao of the canteen. All the projects work and group discussion was done over food corners and canteen spaces.

Exam Structure :

Exams structure was good, there were internal test, projects and final exam. This continued twice in the tenure of the course. We scored well and the curriculum was also related to the course. There was good support from the faculty and college on the notes, last question papers, etc.

Faculty :

Faculties are so friendly in nature, supportive and enthusiastic in different cultural events. I never felt like strict classroom, it was more of experience sharing ground for me. I am still in touch with professors and they all are very supportive in nature.

Placement Experience:

There is a dedicated placement cell that looks at the placements of MBA students. The final year students sit for placements. Until now the placements are not so good but it is improving at a steady rate. Companies such as Accenture, Deloitte, Flipkart, Amazon, ICICI Bank and others come for placements. I don’t have a clear idea about the packages offered but it was around 7-8 LPA on an average.

Placement Experience:

Placements here are decent. The average package of the batch is around 8 lakhs, which is nice considering the pandemic. A lot of good companies visit the campus like Goldman Sachs, Ernst, and Young, KPMG, Deloitte, etc. So, if you perform well here then you can get a good placement from the campus.

Remarks:

College is a little fast paced. Each semester lasts only for 3 months where we have to study 8 subjects in addtion to assignment, presentation, class tests.Social life gets affected if you are a localite as you have to travel to powai which isn't well connected via metro and railways.

Entrance Preview:

I got admission on the bases of my undergraduate scores which was very good. Admission process of this college was good and very simple.

Placement Experience:

Companies like JP Morgan, KPMG, PWC, E&Y have come to the campus and offered 10000/- to 20000/- monthly stipend. I have attended roughly one of those. Regretfully, I cannot provide you with the details of the number of students placed and the exact amount offered because I was not a member of the placement cell. But the college had a placement cell which conducted weekly meetings and trained the students for interviews.
