CMRIT Review

Admission process was smooth. Got admission through comedk. On counselling day, all the available colleges and their last rank admitted was shown. It was good. When i got my turn i chose this college.

Course and curriculum is good. All the faculty members are experienced in their respective field. I chose this course as i wanted CS, since my 12th stream was CS. Faculty:student ratio is around 60 for each class, which is good as faculties can give attention to each student. All the faculties have a good qualification, most of them from reputed colleges, some with PhD degree holders. Teaching method is good as they try to make each and every student understand the topic.Term exams are kindof moderate to little difficult, as they expect students to know the concepts clearly which helps them in coming future.

Companies visit our college for internship offers, where they offer anything between 10k to 30k as stipened, for various roles. Students with good knowledge and projects have a better chance of getting these offers.

Starting from 6th sem, students are elgible for placements as companies start to come in college. TYL or Tie Your Laces program which starts from 1st year makes the students get ready for the placements by teaching them placement related subjects. Companies like Deloitte, Juspay, Byju, VMware etc have visited the college. Some Japanese companies too have visited and have good offers.

Fees structure is different through differnt mode of admission. For KCET its around 80k per year, whereas for comedk its around 220k per year. For comedk it changes almost every year. Cost of study is fine.

We have good amount of fests and cultural activities happening every academic year, Cultura is the biggest one. Various hackathons, workshops happen almost every month. Usually the odd sem is mostly filled with these. Plenty books are available in the colleg library. We can borrow books too. Also our college has online library for CMRIT students where they can login and read any course material books they want, whenever they want. Also no our college is a part of National Digital Library of India (NDLI) - IIT Kharagpur. We have football ground, basketball court, gym, volleyball court, TT tables etc as sports amenities. Varioius clubs like Google DSC club, ART club, Rotaract club etc are run in our college where various activities happpens for students to learn, interact and have fun.
