Entrance Preview :

VITMEE, Rank: 4000. I opted for this because it is an international University and we will have more opportunities to show our talents both in academics and nonacademics.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Nanotechnology is a research-oriented subject and we will have mostly work environment rather than theoretical knowledge. In VIT we had the perfect research environment. The curriculum was also apt for the course, It includes both theory subjects and laboratory experiments.

Placement Experience :

VIT University has been consistently setting records of campus placements amongst private institutions in India. Producing graduates who are well equipped to handle the working norms of the industry and commerce in the public and the private sectors has been the primary aim of the university.

Exam Structure :

Not a hectic task. We will have 2 CAT exams and the final semester exam for both theory and lab work. Labs and all are very interesting and never felt like a hectic task. Because we will get a lot of leisure time in between each and every class hours.

Admission :

I had counseling at college like an interview, It was on the basis of. The aggregate of total marks secured in the Examination of UG and VITMEE rank. There I had to choose my course depending upon the availability of that particular choice. My first option was Nanotechnology and I got it on first chance itself. Then I had submitted all my certificates and pay the fees.

Faculty :

All faculties are much talented and educated. The minimum qualification of a professor is Ph.D. and most of them have Post Doc also. They are mainly focusing their teaching on the aspect of research like projects seminars and publication of papers etc.

Admission:

In May we wrote the Entrance exam. And the mark is calculated based on the mark we score in the entrance exam and also the 12th standard marks taken in certain Percentage decided by the University Board. In one month they will announce the marks online or on the University Board. Then in a couple of days, counselling will happen.
