Remarks :

Our college is the best in ernakulam kerala, because in engineering we got 9 ranks that no other college has got and we stood first in many sport activities if you got skills our college will develop and enhance them our management is also good they give educational support to children who are poorer and making tech fests a huge successes.

Entrance Preview :

I appeared in JEE and kerala entrance examinations in the JEE main i score about 120 marks but i cannot qualify for the next level so in the kerala state entrance examination i scored about 250 marks and got a 29000 rank for that rank i applied for mechanical engineering in several govt colleges and also kmea engineering college that is near to my locality,so i got chance to be in kmea.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Our course curriculum is actually elaborated such that it contains 10 subjects and 2 labs in first year and 6 subject and 2 labs upto 4th year all are interdepartmental subjects such as maths, IT, electronics, electrical, automobile etc i opted for mechanical engineering because i want to go for higher studies in marine engineering the elective paper i took was automobile engineering it was good to study the parts of an automobile such as cars and bikes.

Internships Opportunities :

My college provide internship programs for a 10 days or more.it is done by our placement officer mr.mahendra i had done my internships in FACT UDL divison, it is actually a central govt fertilizers company where there are so many plants where lot of machines are worked we studies the machine and the working of an industry we didn't get any stipend because it is only for apprentice trainees it is done actually after the course.

College Events :

There are many events celebrated in our college such as in first year we have freshers day,and in second year we have onam and christmas celebrations, in the third year we have a grand tech fest and cultural fest which was a wonderful and big days for us we hosted the techfest kapricious with highly variety programs there were participants from other colleges and coming to the last year we are going to host an international grand tech fest with joining hands with iits.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Our fees structure is feasible to me as my fees is in the merit list of the govt i have to pay 69000 rs for 1 year there are also management seats which are costly and will 1 lakh rupees for 1year, we are also getting scholarships of 25000 every year who have less income and no supplies.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

We have a scholarship facility for less income students and also students who are good in studies.the main scholarships we apply are MCM scholarship which gives ₹25000 in 1 year if we do not have any back papers there will also be loan facilities which are having less interest rates and repayable after getting a job.

Campus Life :

Our campus life is the happiest moments in our life.most of the happiness is coming through the friends and there is so many activities ,workshops going on in our college such as pain and palliative care unit, ncc and there is no politics in our college we organised a has sports inter college tournament every year.

Hostel Facilities :

First of all let me say that i am not a hosteler and i have visited the hostel many times from that experience i can say that the hostel is good they have total 400 rooms and in one room there are 3 people and the mess will provide food for all the days the foods was very good. and i think 2500₹ for 1 month in hostel.

External Expense : Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna :

We are having a good alumni network our seniors who have passed out get together in one of the alumni-es where they express their college life and the job they got after studying they also helps the juniors to vet good placements.

Exam Structure :

We are having so many exams through out the semester such as in first year there is model exam, class test, series exams and university exams and in the other semesters we are only having 2 series exams for our internals and the final exam is the mg university exam after undergoing so many exams we are actually chilled out because nowadays exams comes there is no fear and we will write it cool until now i am full pass.

Admission :

After i procured the entrance mark list i saw the notification from kmea about their admission details and branches that they offers etc i mainly prefer mechanical engineering only so in my allotment process i gave my first option as kmea and i got admission in kmea mechanical branch.the administration was good i am studying in the merit fees.

Faculty :

Our faculties are the most eligible persons in our college they are with us the whole course guiding and teaching us to be better self most of our teachers are having M.Tech and better knowledge of the subjects they teaching we have a faculty assessment program in our college that we rate the faculties by their skills and abilities if the faculty doesn't teach well he or she shall be dismissed from the college.

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
