Remarks :

I have very positive comments about kmea engineering college because of its well teaching methods and honesty towards the students. All teachers works very hard to teach the students. They conduct remedial classes for weak students.

Course Curriculum Overview :

It is a very good atmosphere and studying routine for my course here. And it was the reason why I opted this college out 100s of colleges out there in kerala. Every teachers are well qualified and well teching.

Placement Experience :

There is a lot of companies coming here for placements. Vipro, cisco, Infopark, bosche, tata many such companies visit our college for placements. And most of the students from third year and forth year get placed.

College Events :

Technical fests, cultural fests, arts day, management fests all occurs here. Also intra college fests as well as inter college fest happens. Students who are talented are very well encouraged here. They are taken for higher competitions as well.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Its feasible. Merit seats have fees from 10000 to 50000 for a whole year. While NRI seats are very expensive which is from 75000 to 1, 25, 000 for a year. Those who studies well without any back papper are provided with scholarships from the college itself.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Merit scholorship. And many students loans are availed here. Almost 50% of students are studying by taking the students loan and by availing the merit scholorships. People without back papers can also avail the same.

Campus Life :

All facilities are provided here. There is a well maintained college ground for students to play around. And all labs are well furnished and provides all instruments. College conducts art fest which encourages the extra activities of students.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel is placed inside the college campus itself. Students of kmea engineering college, kmea architecture college and kmea arts and science college are staying in the same hostel. Rooms are well furnished with 3 persons sharing.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes. Most of our seniors used to visit us to explain and rell us about their college life period. Seniors who are well placed also usedto come and say us about how they were trained to be placed.they says that every single teacher here helped them very well.

Admission :

I got admission thourough recommendations from the former minister and the president of thw college. And by considering my 10th and 12th cgpa. And they interviewed me by asking many aptitude type questions.

Faculty :

Every teachers are well qualified and well teaching staffs. All teachers works very hard to teach the students. They conduct remedial classes for weak students. They are very honest towards the students as well as to the parents.

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
