IIT DHANBAD full review

Remarks :

IIT ISM took admission in a b.tech course only via JEE Advanced Rank. For the general category, an under 12000-13000 rank is required to get admission in BTech and MTech courses. You must score at least 30% marks in JEE advanced to achieve the above rank.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Since my rank was not that much good I was getting civil, mining, petroleum, mineral metallurgy....and other earth science branches. From them, I chose Petroleum Engineering because its core placement is far better than other mentioned branches, and also its core packages are too much satisfying. IIT ISM has only India but world class level professor for the petroleum engineering branch.

Internships Opportunities :

The internship results here are good. Students get internships in reputed companies like TATA Steel, cairn, exon mobile, etc. Around 100 students per year get PPO. There is also a requirement from FANG. Hence our college provides an ocean of the internship.

Placement Experience :

Campus placement is good every year. This year's average package was around 17-18 lakh. The highest package was 90lpa given to one student in London. In petroleum ONGC used to give a CTC of 19 LPA, cairn India 17 LPA. IT companies like Microsoft offered a package of 45 LPA to 18 students and sprinkle offered 45 LPA to 6 students.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The tuition fees per semester is Rs 1 lakh and other hostel, mess, electricity, water charges costs around 35-40k per semester. If your income is below 1 LPA you will get a 100% tuition fee waiver and if it's between 1-5 LPA you will get 66% tuition fee waiver. SC and ST category students need not to lay the tuition fees. Other than that MCM, ismana etc scholarship are also there which you will be getting on the basis of your academic performance.

Campus Life :

Since I am a 2020 batch I didn't went my college till now. But seniors were saying campus life is something you won't forget in your life. Many clubs are there which you will enjoy are like Cyberlab, Arka Astronomy club, E-Cell, Mailer Daemon, Udaan, RoboIsm, fotofreaks, Artfreaks, Light camera ISM, Mic drop toastmaster club, Live talk Ism club and many more.

Hostel Facilities :

The rooms are cozy but comfortable. In IIT ISM you will be given one partner basically its twin sharing room. Mess food are great. you will get both veg and non-veg here. Mess food quality are A class. Food is healthy.

Remarks:

Best college is situated nearby my home and also as per the review, this college provide best educational facilities, and also it is the best private engineering college of jharkhand and bihar, I got to hear that the faculties of this college a much well and highly educated, all faculties are very friendly with the students, it is also situated in very peace place which is outside the polution and noisey place, where we are able to get pure air which are helpful in study. and most important about placement, here the placement of this college that I got to hear about was very good, approx 70 to 80 percent of students are placed in reputed company. and i am the student of this college, and I fell better to chhose this college.I chose to go to a large university because I like being part of a diverse student body. The world is a big place, and I thought attending a big school would better prepare me for life in the real world. My university has a very strong school of sciences, and I wanted to study under the best minds in the country. It also offered the specialization I was seeking, and I wanted to fast track my education.I chose to go to a large university because I wanted to maximize my post-college opportunities while still in school. We have a vast alumni network, and this helped me land a great summer internship.I chose community college because I was supporting myself, and I wanted a college that was both flexible and affordable. While I was attending classes, I was also working 30 hours a week, but I still managed to get my associate degree in two and a half years.Starting at a community college was a good option for me. I knew exactly what I wanted to achieve, and this school allowed me to earn the professional certificate I needed to start my career.

Placement Experience:

the training and placement of my college is all about average 70% avery year. every year the student got placed in the reputed company and this is the very good thing that the every student want from every college.

Admission:

The JCECE Board conducts the admission process for the BTech course in our College. It is a board constituted by the Government of Jharkhand for those who are willing to pursue B.Tech in Jharkhand. For getting admission into the M.Tech course, you will have to appear for a written test and an interview that is conducted by our institute. In addition to this, you will also have to provide a valid GATE course. Other than this, our College also offers research programs, and to get admitted into those, you will have to appear for an interview and a written test.

Placement Experience:

I am in my final year of B.Tech and have already received placements offers from some of the best companies. The package we are offered also varies somewhere between Rs. 4.5 lakhs and 10.5 lakhs per year. I personally believe that this is a good package for a beginner. Some of the companies that hire students from our institute include CESC Limited, Genpact, Haldia Petrochemicals Ltd., HCL Info System, IBM, Honda, Tata Steel, Vedanta, Aditya Birla Group, etc.
