Placement chart

Remarks :

Yenapoya University, it's a private one and asking large amount of fees which I don't want my parents to try hard to get that Govt Arts College Ambalapuzha and Palakkad I got admission there but I don't want them as I don't want just a degree it's the last option for me. I applied for the EWS quota in order to use it for the NEET exam but with that certificate, I got a KEAM seat with the normal rank. The minimum marks, if it's for government college a normal student should score below 7k rank that is 300+ marks if you have any special quota you will get admission in that way and age is not at all concerned for doing BTech. Usually, every college do have a counselling day or freshers day due to covid there is no such class and we got many other sessions through online webinars like that.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I was a Biomaths student obviously Computer Science is not my thing so is IT, so only courses I can join is EEE and ECE and we are not choosing the course they are giving the course according to our rank from our list, so I got EEE am comfortable with both, I don't need much and I want to go abroad so EEE is much better. Ratio I don't know properly because online class, how far we can calculate such things. Faculties are well qualified we have PhD holders and yes they do their work perfectly, Govt college, they are government employees so naturally they are on it and do their jobs accurately. We are having series of exams nowadays online and they know how much we can grab through an online class, so questions are more direct ones, yeah they are conducting exams frequently so we can score a min of pass mark if you were a good listener at class.

Internships Opportunities :

The main companies that recruit our mates are Infosys, Wipro, TCS, QBurst and banks like federala and many. Projects start from the first year itself and certain internship programs and all. In our college placement is mainly for CS, IT. The placement range is like IT>CS>ECE>EEE>Mech>Civil. This is the range of placement. The main company giving placement is Infosys. Every government colleges offer maximum placement in Kerala.

Placement Experience :

S6 itself students are capable of their placements based on the marks they are getting from college. Since it is a government college placements are high because it is among the top 10engineering colleges in Kerala. My plan is to get placed in any company and get experience for 5 months to 6 months then I want to go abroad and look for a job.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Since it is a government institution, fees are much lower compared to other private ones In private colleges they are asking fees of 50k per sem. Each year there are 2 sems so 1 lakh, but in our college per year, we only have to pay 6k that's why everyone is trying hard to get a Keam seat. Many scholarships were there for each and every student can atleast apply for one, and college is taking all risks to get us scholarships properly, Job is like there is a branch called IEEE, they are offering many webinars and internship programs for students to get maximum credits which could help them to pass the interview, so a seat in college is really a big deal.

Campus Life :

Every year they are conducting as many fests in our college, we are the first batch who could not enjoy all those due to covid but seniors promised us they will conduct everything when we are in college. Important thing is that among the engineering colleges in Kerala our college is providing a maximum number of fest and programs that improvise students skills. Invento is a main fest conducted in our college. Books and journals are always available at a college campus, and the faculties are free to ask doubts. Our college possesses a gym and a proper ground which is essential for a sports person to be a part of many sports competitions were there. There are party-based programs since it is a government college and many events based on that.

Hostel Facilities :

I'm in a private hostel so don't know anything about the college hostel not yet. I guess everything was fine their good food and a nice warden since am a student from a private hostel I can say that. Rooms are not congested proper food is provided, we all really enjoyed our hostel days for atleast a week.
