Remarks :

One of best college for commerce education under panjab University. Very good and highly qualified faculty for commerce education. Good summer internship and placement including companies like Deloitte, ICICI bank, L&T construction. Also becaus eit is in my hometown.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Very highly trained faculty with good understanding towards students. Very helpful faculty guiding theough project and assignment.Course curriculum can be said a little outdated but still very good system for improving academics.

Placement Experience :

GGDSD college has very good placement cell. Several bog companies Deloitte. ICICI Bank, L&T construction ahve visited for recruitment which have offered around 2.5 to 3.5 lacs CTC with average around 2.8 lacs. More than 70% of students get placed. My plans are to pursue the job i have got at campus for few years and then drop and pursue masters degree.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Very affordable fees structure for such a highly reputed college. Scholarship for sports students and other students bringing cocurricular achievement. Financial assistance also provided for economical backward students. Very good placement cell that bring various top level companies. I myself got placed with L&T construction through campus placement with 3lac CTC after B.com.

Campus Life :

Campus life at GGDSD college is great. There are fests held separately by every course streams and one annual fest where several celebrity are called upon. Has a sport team for almost all the sports. Very big library where one can find books of any genre along with reading room. Varios social and NPO clubs are available in vampus where one can jojnto improve social skills and other fun activities.

Admission :

Bachelor degree admission are solely based upon merit basis. Just general questions regarding why to join can be asked on time of admission but does not an massive advantage in the admission process.

I think its pretty relevant but i also believe that only theoretical language is not enough and efforts should be made for more practical knowledge or applying the theoretical knowledge practically by students

Early internship and placement opportunities with good infrastructure.

Placement Experience:

In CSE, companies start to come in 6th semester for campus placements (few companies also come in 5th). In my course around 70% students secure placements. The highest package offered last year was 52 LPA and the average package is 5LPA. Some of the top recruiting companies include Amazon, Cisco, Paypal, Virtusa, Deloitte, among others.

Placements of our college is outstanding. From 7th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Many companies like amazon, flipkart, IBM, and many more visited last year. The highest package was 31 LPA. My plans after getting the degree is to pursue for masters from usa.

PEC- A complete overview

Placement Experience:

PEC offers a good amount of on-campus companies which provide internships and placements. From 6th semester students become eligible for internships and placements. This provides an edge to students of pec compared to other colleges as they have more time to get placed. Various companies like Microsoft, Google, Uber, DE SHAW, phonepe, Natwest, Amdocs, Cisco, and a number of others companies make over overall 600+ offers. The highest package is offered by Microsoft of 54 lakhs and Uber offers the highest paid internship for 2lakh per month.
