If you are passionate about being in the field of Medicines & want to take admission at Swami Vivekanand College of Pharmacy so you must have done your 10+2 examination from a board Recognized & Established by Central/ State Government with Physics, Chemistry & Maths as a Compulsory Subject. The Minimum Percentage in 10+2 Should be 45% for General & 40% for Reserved Categories.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I opted for this Bachelor of Pharmacy as my Graduation part as this field attracted me since my childhood. It is my dream to be in this Medical Industry Technical Field in a very good position. Our Faculties are also very-well Trained & very Co-Operative. With the academics, they also teach us how to keep balance in Work-Life for our future Professional life.

Class Size : 120Course Fees : INR 50000 per year

Placement Experience :

Students who are having a Dream to be in the field of professionalism as soon as possible should come & join us as our Campus provides us the facility to seat in Campus Drive as soon as we complete our 6 Semesters. Various High-Profile Companies come & visit our Campus in search of Good Interns & many of our mates got selected every year.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There is no hike in the fee structure (of semesters) in between the semesters. 1st Year fees of B.Pharmacy at our college are Rs.45,980 & Rs.42,980 for the remaining 7 Semesters. Our SVCP college provides high-quality Education that is quite affordable & an economic Fees Structure.

Campus Life :

Academics are the main part of a college Students life but along with that Cultural & Sports events also took an important place in the overall development of a Students life & behavior. Our SVGOI institutes provide Various different platforms for students' overall Personality Development. Events like Inter-College Sports meet, Annual Celebrations, Freshers Eve, Farewell Party, etc are being celebrated & enjoyed by our Campus students & Faculties with great joy & happiness.

An In-Depth Look at Campus Life and opportunities at Chandigarh University

Course Curriculum Overview:

As i have opted the course B.Pharmacy! I rate the course as optimal, neither too bad nor too good, its medium! Now comes on teaching method, some teachers are really well and good and few are those who does not teaches but only writing writing, thats it, they will not explain at all! And one thing they should change is that All Courses except B.Pharmacy in Chandigarh University have the criteria to pass the student even below the 40% only or the half of the highest number scored by the topper in the class, and for Bpharmacy its minimum requirement to pass the exam is 50%, Oh My God! This needs to be changed, Now every year, in Bpharmacy, the overall 80% students are getting Compartments (Back/Fail) in the subjects, but the University is not understanding it all. So this should be changed as earlier!

Placement Experience:

You are eligible for campus placement in 2nd last semester student, Mahindra Jio Wipro Bebo technology etc companies in college. The highest package in college offered by Wipro company is 700000 and the normal average package is 20000. 95 percent of students get placement. Business is my plan after degree.

Remarks:

Postive about the University is its infrastructure and facilities provided to the students. Negative are the rules, there are tons of the rules imposed over the student limiting them to feel the courtesy and pride in visiting the college every day.
