I have opted to study Engineering in Chennai so I shortlisted colleges according to my sports quota mark. My priorities are 1)Jeppiar College of Engineering 2) Jerusalem College of Engineering 3) St.Peters college of engineering and technology 4) S.A College of Engineering 5) Vellamal College of Engineering 6) Pratyusha college of Engineering 7) Valliammai college of Engineering By that time I am entering the counselling seats in Jeppiar College of Engineering and Vellamal Engineering College was over so I chose my college.

I liked to become an IT professional. Faculty student ratio will be around 1:10. Most of the assistant professor is Masters in Engineering and Professor and HODs in all departments are well experienced and qualified in their respective streams. Every Saturday and Monday Unit Test will be conducted.

Only very very few companies offered internships in our college during that year.1) Caddcom solutions 2) Accenture 3) Ti Industries 4) TI cycles so I don't know more about internship and I have not offered an internship.

After sixth semester students eligible for Placements. Only very few visited our campus but they have tie up with several colleges near by so they will notify every off campus drive happening in and around our college.

Fees were not that high when compared to other Chennai colleges. Fees will around 70000/ year and there was no extra cost was collected from my college. No Financial Assistance got from any scholarship. I opted to prepare for civil service exams so not proceeded with any job offers.

No annual fest conducted by my college. There was college day, sports day and symposium only. The library of our college was excellent. Ground facilities limited to only day time No proper ground facilities for every sport but college supports Sports activities.

Not a big process to get an admission. Simply went and got admission. Hostel food was good. After 2 years of my hostel came out of college hostel and stayed in the same area JB Estate. The rent of that area was affordable.
