Remarks :

Pros: 1.Location: Other than IP college, and other govt. IIT, NIT, Jamia Hamdard provide you the opportunity to do Engineering in Delhi. 2. Campus: Much large area covered by University as compared to IP colleges. Cons: 1. No or less on Campus placement opportunity. 2. Fees are quite high as compared to IP colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview :

1. 2 sessional and 1 semester exam for each subject. 2. Lab exams are conducted on the same day of Theory exam. 3. Faculty: student ratio is good. 4. Exam is easy to pass. 5. No strictness to college fees or fines. 6. Teachers are supportive.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 130000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

No internship opportunities provided. Just do your Final year project and fly. There is a subject in 7th and 8th Sem of internship but of no use. You will have two make 2 minor and 2 major projects. Teachers are assigned to each student for the project

Placement Experience :

During the final student became eligible for placement. Generally, one or two small companies visit campus that too for less than t students. After getting a degree, I will look for off-campus placement because of no Campus placement.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fees remain constant at which you took admission. No Scholarship, Financial Assistance from the University side. Almost No OnCampus placement for B.tech Student. No other cost to study expect fees. Library has less books and reading hall is not good.

Campus Life :

Nerdz is the name of the annual fest but not held every year. University has a cricket ground and basketball,indoor games space. Extra Curricular activities are not there in B.tech depertment but student can participate in MBBS, MBA departments activities. The placement cell is there in university. Student can join.

Hostel Facilities :

Chances for girls to get hostel is more than Boys. But Boys has option to live on rent nearby college 500m away from B.Tech department building. Hostels expenses are high. Tugalkabad extension is locality where you can live on rent.

Hostel Fee : INR 200000 per year

Interview Experience :

Only merit list was there based on Your Jee score. Incase of more number of student, Personal Interview can be there.For Personal interview just prepare your basic math of class 11 and 12 NCERT, also some basic concept of physics and chemistry.

Good for money not for life

Placement Experience:

Placements are good. In 2024 the highest package till now is 88L per annum and the median package is around 18L per annum.. On campus are good and also off campus placements are also focused. Which is good point!

Unfiltered Truth

Placement Experience:

For 4yr courses like btech students of 7th semester become eligible for campus placements. Tcs, ambuja, mahindra tech and etc.. Companies visited and they made decent number of offers. Highest package is 25 lakhs which offered by amazon. Lowest package is 1.70 lakhs offered by tcs. Percentage of students getting placements is 30%. I wanna join indian army so I will appear for defense exams after the degree

Dilemma choosing NSUT? Here the analysis

Placement Experience:

Usually the placement session starts in the beginning of the 4th year when the recruiters start coming however some people get PPOs even in the end of 3rd year. How the number of on campus internship is quite less of around 100-200 including all three campuses of NSUT. As of now the a total of 457 companies visited for on campus placements and 1400+ offers were given out of 2500 students in the yr 2023 published by the College administration. The highest package offered was 87 lpa and the average package was around 8-10lpa overall. The placement percentage would be around 60-70% overall but talking about my own ICE branch it had a fantastic percentage of 97%. My plans after getting degree is to getting into either a tech MNC or into a core semiconductor company like Qualcomm, Foxconn, etc.

My experience at DTU

Placement Experience:

Campus placement are good at DTU. Average package in 2023 was 25 LPA. Highest package was 82 LPA for BTech and 51 LPA for MTech. More than 160 companies visited DTU in 2023. Around 91 percent student were placed.

IIT-D review

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I am interested in mechanicals. There are few courses in which more than one branch studies so more number of students otherwise 70-80 students per faculty. Faculties are well qualified done masters from foreign universities. Some faculties use slides others use chalk and board. There are minors(mid-sem) and majors(end-sem). Other than that there are quizzes ~4 per semester per course.
