Remarks

Our college was the best, not only its infrastructure - but its location, faculty, management, canteen - just everything was par excellence.

Entrance Preview

After I passed class XII, I opted for this college as it had good faculty for Economics.

Course Curriculum Overview

Calcutta University is always prestigious for its course curriculum, and so was my college as it was under CU. So there was no second thought about it - it was the best.

Placement Experience

Ours was a graduation college, and hence campus interview was not applicable.

College Events

All cultural events like Saraswati puja, Republic Day, Independence Day, College Freshers Welcome, Farewell, College Day, Teacher's Day were celebrated with fun and enthusiasm. Moreover there were sports, debate, elocution, dumb charade, etc. were organised every year.

Campus Life

They were excellent. It was only a girls college, so gender diversity did not apply.

Exam Structure

The exam structure was quite strict, we had exams every month and then also had half yearly exams.

Faculty

Excellent, very qualified, friendly, and went out of the way to make their teaching par excellence.

I wanted to explore the CS stream from the beginning so I joined this program. The faculty: student ratio in BA is good and is around 1:7. All the teachers are well equipped and have complete knowledge of the subjects they are teaching. The exams were difficult as compared to the SPPU endsem exams, but that is expected from a college of such repute.

I choose this college because it's nearby my house it saved me money and the college is reputed with NAAC grade B+.
