The basic eligibility for admissions to all courses provided by the institute is 10+2. The selection criteria or the shortlisting of candidates is done on the basis of merit from their last qualifying examination. BA Honors course has a total intake of 349 seats whereas BA General course has a total intake of 200 seats. Similarly, total intake of B.Sc general and B.Sc Honors is 120 and 325 respectively. For B.Com General and B.Com Honors, total seat intake is 60 and 164 respectively.

Candidates interested in getting admission to this college need to follow the steps below:

- Go to the ‘Admission’ section under the ‘Academics’ bar.
- Click on the ‘Apply Online’ tab on the page.
- The new candidates need to register themselves with the basic details required and agree to the conditions that follow. Click on New Candidate Registration and register yourself.
- After the registration process a Unique ID and password is generated and sent to the registered phone number of the candidate.
- Next, login with reference number and password.
- Fill the form carefully with the required details like name, email-id, number and date of birth and submit scanned copies of signature and photograph.
- Pay the application fee of INR 150 via Debit/Credit Card or Net Banking and submit the duly filled application form.

Sammilani Mahavidyalaya has a placement cell which is known to provide students with necessary guidance and grooming sessions to excel at developing skills required during an interview by the experts. They are also known to organise various seminars, talks and lectures for the betterment of students and to impart them the necessary skills required for the job market. The college has a UGC sponsored Career Counseling Cell that organises campus placement recruitments every year for the 3rd year passing out students. Companies from the IT sector such as WIPRO and Real Estate Groups reach out to the college campus to provide placement opportunities to the students. The average package varies as per different companies and students get job opportunities in both public and private sectors. Students coming out to the college who are economically backward but have the capability are given free studentship as per the rules set by the Government of India. The College also runs a program for girls namely ‘Kanya-Shree Prakalpa Program’ to bring out improved outcomes in their education by providing them with monthly or yearly stipend. At first, you applied for the course with the application form money. And after being shortlisted they will ask for a declaration form from you. After you submit you got admitted in college then the department head will give you a link to join the department WhatsApp group. Then you will get all the official notifications from there

I admitted this college in the year 2018.now I am persuing B. Com Honours. The course is fantastic and it is very helpful to me in future.Faculties are very helpful to me. Our HOD Sanjib Sir, Srikanta Malakar Sir also help me. They teach us the lesson of life

The application process for new admission has started at Sammilani Mahavidyalaya. The last date for submission of application forms for UG programs is July 15, 2023.
