Remarks :
Because i didn't want to take colleges in South and in North India NIT ALLAHABAD is the one of the best NIT on the basis of studies and all over opportunities like sports, cultural events, technical activities, good societies. The main thing is Undergraduate program in Computer science was first started in MNNIT ALLAHABAD. Computer science engineering is one of the oldest branch in MNNIT. Also it has 223 acre broad campus. Admission is simple as in other NIT, IIIT, IIT. Crack JEE main with good and take admission in prestigious college like mnnit. When it's comes to facilities just do Google about mnnit. It has 2+1 girls hostel, 8+1 boys hostels, 1 international house for Phd Scholar, 1 guest house with multiple rooms just like 3 Star hotels. Their so many things which attracted me towards mnnit like it's Auditorium, Health center, Student activity center SAC. 'AVISHKAR' and 'CULRAV' is one the biggest technical and cultural fest of North India respectively.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Information technology branch comes under the Computer science department of mnnit. The CS department is best department among all the departments in MNNIT. It's punctuality, faculties all the things are awesome. In results CS department always on top both in Computer science engineering and Information Technology. Faculties are so polite and professional, helpful. I met most of HODs of my time and they were very nice to me.
Internships Opportunities :
No, i didn't get any internships. But according to the data more than 90% students who get internships, they will surely get PPO from the respective companies. From 5th semester students become eligible for internships role.
Placement Experience :
Placement is good 6-7 lpa is average and 14 lpa of CS department. In 7 semester students become eligible for campus placement. Qualcomm, Arcesium, Microsoft, Atlassian, Dsaw, Oracle, McAfee many more. 80-90 % got placed.
College Events :
Campus life was awesome. the food was great. Avishkar is technical fest which is conducted in the month of September and Culrav is cultural fest which conducted in the first week of April. 24*7 library facilities. Josh and Jalal annual sports fest which is conducted in the month of January. When it's comes to the social groups and all. The list is broad Anokhi pahal, literary fest, Robotic club, coding clubs.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Firstly the fee structure changed so many time like 2-3 times during my degree. For fee you just need to see it on official website of institute. My total was around 2 lack for four year. This was based on categories and income. When it compares to other NITs and colleges. It's very low amount for me.Scholarships are provided by institute as well as state government and central government. NSP 2.0, FFE, SAMSUNG SCHOLARSHIP. official department is there for scholarships called directly comes under DEAN. during my degree i also got central scholarship and as well institute scholarship. The average package of the college around 6-7 LPA whereas average package of CSE and IT is around 11-14 LPA. it varies from year to year. More than 80-90 % students get placed in various MNCs. the highest package offered by GOOGLE around 1.21 crore and currently Goldman Sachs, DSaw, Arcesium, Atlassian like many companies which offers highest package. Over than 30- 50 LPA.
Hostel Facilities :
My hostel fee was 250 rs and mess fees was 30k annually. But now hostel fee is changed but mess fee is same as before. It's seems the fee is changed due to induction of New Hostels. There was mess secretary approved by the committee of students and Warden who decide mess menu with the discussion of students who lived in that particular hostel.
Admission :
Sorry to say but i didn't face any interviews, discussion or written test GD. Actually i left the college just before completing my degree then i take admission in IIT MADRAS. but as I heard from my friends about PI, GD nothing was more complicated. All the things were lite. Students must have the knowledge what they looking for, other things doesn't matter more.
