Remarks :

Training ship rahaman is well reputed college for merchant navy. The Environment of college is good the greenary in the college,thier food attracts. The facilities in this college for the transport of students is also available. Admission process is simple in college that is through IMU CET and college based forms. Course Curriculum Overview :

I have choosen to do Diploma in nautical scince that is one year pre sea course. It is good course. Only within one year of training in the institute after that one get jobs in ship as a deck cadet. When i have joined as a first ship i got total 600 US Dollor salary. About faculty in the college is good thier different faculty for different subjects teaching is also nice. Administration of the college is good. About the qualifications of faculty mostly of them were captain and most experienced and teaching methods were black board also with the explanations on the projector and lots of practicals. About the exams there were two semester during my tenure each semester we have to pass otherwise you wont be able to get CDC and rest of the certificates. Exams are not that much easy. You have to study a lot because the course is of one year and you have study more than expected. So try for the best.

Internships Opportunities :

I got placement in WILHELMSEN SHIP MANAGEMENT INDIA PVT LTD. During training period that is of 18 months in the sea they gave me stipend of about 600US Dollor. During this period they basically give the training and prepred us for 2nd mate examination. There are two three books which they provide us. we have basically complete all the tasks assigned and di the required projects.

Placement Experience :

This is TRAINING SHIP RAHAMAN. If you looking for best college and high placement this is the best college. About 70 to 80% students are getting placement from the college. College faculty also try thier best for the placement for each and every students. If you are not get the placement you can try for next year. Evey year college is opening the form for the sponsorship.

College Events :

Life in the campus was execellent. I started my career in 2016 and passout in 2017 August. Whole experience in the college was good. Eveyone in the college thier reception facilities administration,Hostel for living was excellent. There was separate library for books and also cyber cafe for computer related works. There are also lots of curriculum activities lots of sports such cricket,football,Vollyball and basket ball ground. There was also Medical facilities available in the campus.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

There are many different courses are avaible to do i have choosen the DNS Diploma in nautical science. Total fees for this course is about 360000 we have to pay in two semesters. About the scholarship in the college i have not heard about it. About the financials assitance that is regarding money problem college is helping us to get the loan facilities.

Hostel Facilities :

When you pay Annual course fee that is 360000 which includes everything your hostel meal etc. Hostel facilities is available in the college itself. In one room 3 people can live. There were three diffe Beds availbale. Toilet bathroom facilities everything is available.

Hostel Fee : INR 60000 per year

Admission :

Before joining this course you must be pre sponsored by the company. After that you get the admission after qualifying IMU CET. There are written exams of the company after clearing they will appoint you for the interview. After passing the interview you will be selcted for the company. For the written examination and interview college faculty is well preparing for us.

Pretty normal college with good facilities and amenities

Course Curriculum Overview:

As every Diploma passing student enters to degree college same process I went through. The faculty of the college are well educated and hardworking. As a student, you have to reach out to your faculty and maintain a good relation with them to get constant support from them. the ratio is 25:1. The teaching method of professors is very professional. Exams are as per the government regulations and the difficulty level is moderate for general students.

In my Sophomore year, the internship rates were 100%, each and everyone was us was placed in a prestigious organisation. I was placed in Entuple Technologies and my stipend was 15000 per month. (I did the internship for a period of 2 months and was offered a PPO) The placement rate is great as well, the stipend hikes up to 22 Lakh p.a.

Admission:

The admission for this college is very easy. The basic eligibility criteria for the students is their qualifying marks in 10,+2 examinations. Then they have a score a good ranks in NEET entrance exam Which be conducted by the government all over the India. Then they have to applying this college with a demand draft of Rs 500.

I love my college as the way it is, wouldn't change it for anything in the world.

Admission:

I was earlier classed into the pool of NRI students as I had completed my 10th and 12th graduation from abroad. I however did not want to register as an NRI student and wrote the MH-CET which is the state entrance exam and the field under which I chose it was engineering. I managed to attain a good rank and get admission into my required branch and field at Symbiosis Institute of Technology. I attempted the MH-CET exam some time around the beginning of May. I chose the course of Electronics and Telecommunication as it particularly interested me and the main interest in Symbiosis was generated through the fact that one of my cousins had studied there and overall I had heard a lot about Symbiosis especially in the Pune circle. The steps required in this process were i) Application through the Symbiosis Admission Portal ii) Attachment of all relevant documents for verification iii) A counselling session in which all the ranked candidates where invited and offered seats iv) A final verification and admission confirmation

Entrance Preview:

I had given AIEEE and MHTCET entrance examination. The college is very well known in Maharashtra. I was interested in this course only. This was the only college choice of mine for the course.

Admission:

Admission process was through DTE. CAP rounds were scheduled before which we have to fill our all details and get it verified at ARC centre with original documents. Then fill the option form, and wait for the results. I got selected in cap round after which I confirmed my admission at the college.
