Remarks :

Teachers are very nice, hostel and food is awesome. Hostel is compulsory for everyone. There is a exam taken by IMU(INDIAN MARITIME UNIVERSITY), You have score a good rank to get this college. It's one of the oldest college and know for its discipline, and also there is a nearby port where we keep visiting. The fees includes everything right from hostel fees, uniform and food. There is shore leave on Sunday where you can go out and enjoy, Rest of the days only in emergency situation you are allowed to go out, And sometimes there are overnight leaves also.

Course Curriculum Overview :

This course offers 1 year of study and 18 months of experience on ship. The class size is of 20-25 students and if there are more children then more sections. Teachers are excellent Capt. Nc Jha is the best teacher, one can have. He worked in MSC SHIPPING AND every teacher has a good Sea experience. In one year course there are 2 semester and If you study continuously then exams are easy.

Class Size : 750Course Fees : INR 380000 per year

Placement Experience :

You have to get place before the College start, if not then college will grind a company where you can go and give the interview. Companies like fleet management, Chellaram,Mol,MSc comes here for placement.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fees is around 380000 includes everything right from study to hostel to got placement in ELEGANT MARINE SERVICE,IN THIS COURSE YOU HAVE TO GET YOUR PLACEMENT FIRST,IF YOU DONT THEN THE COLLEGE WILL DEFINITELY HELP.

Campus Life :

There is a passing out ceremony, before the final exams. Library is very good. For Sports there is football, basketball, cricket and Gym.

Hostel Facilities :

Room and wardrobe was provided. IN one room two people stays but there is a wall which gives full privacy. Hostel is compulsory. Food is awesome. Everyday Non veg is available, Included in the fees.

Hostel Fee : INR 30000 per year

All about my experience at Tolani maritime institute.

Placement Experience:

Well we only have 1 year here so we are placed in the beginning of the year itself. There are many companies like synergy, BW, EPS and have offered 20000-30000. The packages range from 25000-50000. All the students here get placed so it is 100% placement here at tolani maritime institute. After my degree I'll go for cadet ship for 18 months with my company.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose DNS(Diploma in nautical science) because this is the best I found because it gives you a training period for sure and it leads to your job further if you perform well in your further exams. There are many more benefits to it.

Terrific TMI

Placement Experience:

For my course the placement is already done and students are pre-placed hence we don't need to attend any interviews and written test after we have joined the course. As far as package is considered the package is quite high. The percentage of students thus placed is 100% as they are pre-placed. After getting the degree we need to go on the ship for training.
