Remarks :

It is considered as one of the best Engineering College in the State. And also it is government college so fees are very less and affordable. Every year many companies come for the placement so the getting a job criteria is very good.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this course because I was always hyped about physics and machines so this course seemed to be perfect. As per subject there are 7-8 faculties so if any student has doubt it can be cleared right away. The exams are help every month but the main exams are help once in 6 months, the passing criteria is little tough but you can always clear your back log the next year.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 1200 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Every year after the exams students are sent to different companies or fields for the internship such as one of my senior have been sent to ASTC, its an bus service of the state and different things were taught.

Placement Experience :

From 6th semester students can become eligible for placements. As I am in 1st year I don't know so much about the companies but I have heard that wipro and Oil India Limited came. Percentage of students getting a placement is average but if you are good in your filed their is a possibility that you can get the job.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The cost is too low as it is a government college so this year I only had to give 1200 till now. I don't have the information about the scholarship programmes but sure the government scholarship are given too much importance.

Campus Life :

The campus is huge but still a little small as compared to AEC. The classrooms are not so great as the college is very old so the things are also tend to be rusty. Every year there held an programme name Phoenix which is the annual culture function of JEC.

Hostel Facilities :

In the room there is an almirah, a table and chair, and a bed. The quality of the meal is good but the repetition criteria is very high. And also the meals lack green vegetables. If I rented a PG .

Hostel Fee : INR 1200 per year

Interview Experience :

Every year there held an Entrance Exam name CEE by which score, it is decided. The entrance exam not only held for JEC but to all the other engineering colleges in the state. The exam is little tough but with proper guidance one can pass with flying colors.

You will get a campus placement in the uth semester and you have social, academic and industrial internships from college. The companies that visit are mentioned in the college website as it changes every year. Highest package is 8lpa that was provided in the year 2021. This year the highest package is 5lpa

Placement Experience:

The college holds a high placement rate with a significant percentage of Students security jobs before graduation. The college attracts reputed companies e.g. google ,microsoft , bajaj, oracle,barclays , grow ,etc. for campus placement including top multinational corporations and leading firms in various sectors . Total 164 offers were made by 59 companies during last academic year(2022-23). In addition, IIT Guwahati students have already received as many as 214 pre placement offers during the academic year 2023-24. The highest package this year is 2.05 crore per annum. Placement rate is 72%. My plan is to get a good pre placement offers before my graduation .

Admission:

I have just completed my schooling. It's but obvious that studying somewhere else from your hometown is exciting. And so as soon as I got my results, I started searching for the colleges and found AIT. As per my research, the faculty over here implements practical strategies into your studies that really made me choose AIT. The admission process was very smooth. They asked for certain documents that I have submitted and then pretty much went simple. It was very smoothly conducted by the teachers and the student volunteers.

Placement Experience:

Previously there was no placement opportunity, but now things have evolved, and now there are campus placements as well. The placement cell coordinators, along with the teachers, work hard to ensure that students get placed in reputed companies.
