Remarks :

To remark about my college in a few words is hard but in a nutshell I would say that my campus was the beginning of another chapter in my life that enabled me to be the person I'm today.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Exams were conducted annually.It was not purely industry specific but it did give us an idea about various aspects of civil engineering.Yes, industrial visits were organised. The college did provide its students fair amount of guidelines that enabled most of them to excel. Such educational institutions of that time is highly appreciated.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 1500 per year

Placement Experience :

There were not much placement drive at that time. However, it is important to mention that state government placements were easily available. So, the competition stayed neutral and most of them were able to get to there desired jobs.

College Events :

A very fascinating part of our campus was the celebration of various events including the rituals of saraswati puja, bishwakarma puja along with independence and republic days. The greater part of joy were the college weeks and fresher's social ; which gave everyone a nice drive to keep working harder for their upcoming semesters.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

One remarkable thing of our campus was the feasible fee structure. Such gestures helped all categories of students to avail the highly appreciated courses of engineering and other courses including masters in computer application. The faculty really helped the youth of the state to see bigger aspirations in the near future.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I did opt for such educational scholarships. Luckily, I was able to achieve it. However our college did not offer any such scholarships.

Campus Life :

To note on various aspects of our college, I would say that our campus was a co-ed college which is definitely remarkable. Also, the gender ratio of students was about one part females to three parts male. All of us were blessed with a faculty that geared to provide the students an overall perspective of various social and work place issues.

Hostel Facilities :

Yes I was in hostel no 1 having 20 rooms in one hostel The hostel was good and each room accommodated four students.The Food was good.Non veg food was given in 2 days in a week Proper cleanliness and hygiene was maintained

Hostel Fee : INR 4000 per yearExternal Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

The seniors were remarkably helpful. They managed to give the fresher's a nice insight of the regulations of the hostel and the campus as well.

Admission :

Through entrance exam by CEE.Due to interest in the course and nearer to my home.The placement s were good and job scarcity was less.There were two tier admission procedure. Initially aspirants had to appear for written test and finally if selected the students had to appear for counselling and admitted ad per availability of seats and priorities of the students.

Faculty :

Around ten lectures and one professors.average age of the lectures were about 45 and all had master degree. They taught well and gave proper knowledge on various topics of the course and they were industry experienced. all the mentors stayed friendly with the students which also helped in the overall interaction between the students and the teachers.

You will get a campus placement in the uth semester and you have social, academic and industrial internships from college. The companies that visit are mentioned in the college website as it changes every year. Highest package is 8lpa that was provided in the year 2021. This year the highest package is 5lpa

Placement Experience:

The college holds a high placement rate with a significant percentage of Students security jobs before graduation. The college attracts reputed companies e.g. google ,microsoft , bajaj, oracle,barclays , grow ,etc. for campus placement including top multinational corporations and leading firms in various sectors . Total 164 offers were made by 59 companies during last academic year(2022-23). In addition, IIT Guwahati students have already received as many as 214 pre placement offers during the academic year 2023-24. The highest package this year is 2.05 crore per annum. Placement rate is 72%. My plan is to get a good pre placement offers before my graduation .

Admission:

I have just completed my schooling. It's but obvious that studying somewhere else from your hometown is exciting. And so as soon as I got my results, I started searching for the colleges and found AIT. As per my research, the faculty over here implements practical strategies into your studies that really made me choose AIT. The admission process was very smooth. They asked for certain documents that I have submitted and then pretty much went simple. It was very smoothly conducted by the teachers and the student volunteers.

Placement Experience:

Previously there was no placement opportunity, but now things have evolved, and now there are campus placements as well. The placement cell coordinators, along with the teachers, work hard to ensure that students get placed in reputed companies.
