Remarks :
I have completed my 12th with science stream from Kanya maha Vidyalaya collegiate too. The infrastructure of the college is phenomenal. Labs and syllabus are updated. KMV is ranked as the no 1 college for women in Punjab. Teachers are highly experienced. There are many extracurricular activities along with studies. Many new courses are introduced in college this year also. Animation is one of the high skills programs. Filmmaking, Data Analyst, Bvoc. Nutrition and many more. You should definitely join this college if you are looking for skills with a professional approach.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Animation is one of the top-rated skills at present. The course includes video editing, storyboarding, digital art, 3D modeling. Also, this course has different personality development programs for each semester. This course came under DDU kaushal kendra. This bvoc. The course includes multi-level entry and exit for students. Students will get two degrees at the end. If anyone exits in any of sem they will get a certificate for that sem. The exams are divided into Cp1, Cp2, midterm, and final exams. These exams are practical and theory-based.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes, internship programs are included for final-year students. Students get a chance to visit production houses and get to learn and understand the workflow of studios. Pritam Production House is one of those studios.
Placement Experience :
Every year Placement Drive is organized for students. Many companies visit our college. Students appear in interviews and get a chance to interact with multi-level companies. Many students got placement in good companies and production houses. Some students from Animation Department have also worked in Jumanji and Bahubali movies.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The course fee structure is around 14,800. There are manual scholarships for students-merit-based and need-based and also many available to help students. I also get a scholarship merit-based divided into 2 semesters.
Campus Life :
The biggest event of college fete is organized everywhere. Punjabi singers are invited to this event. It is all a fun and happy environment on campus. The fest takes place mostly in February. Then many extracurricular activities and events are organized for various departments. Spark, Goffer, Talent Hunt, and many more. The library is filled up with books and the infrastructure of the library is amazing. There are Ac labs with updated softwares.
