  • Classes and building is old. The college campus is very small. Especially my own department. The classes are furnished like a school.
  • There are not a lot of growth opportunities. The crowd of the college is mostly unimpressive as well.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I shifted from humanities to commerce by choosing this course. This course is actually very practical given that it prepares u directly for ur jobs basics. I do believe that doing this same course in a better college would have been a great thing for me personally.

Internships Opportunities :

Not in the college. But on the contrary, my course requires a mandatory training of 2 months. Therefore I am made to do it. Projects are basic file making and things. I would suggest this college only to people for whom the degree they would take here is not the sole career option .

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fees of a semester ranges around 17000. The college is infamous for sucking fines from students. Yearly cost including fines, books, any other expenses ends with me spending 50000 per year. I have not taken any job roles currently. I do work on projects outside of my collegelife and this college is actually apt for people lokking to balance other works with the college.

Campus Life :

Social life is pretty dead. The clubs are non existent. Library deserves all the praise. The fest is the same that happens in the GNDU, the university this college is affiliated to. Campus is very small and i can completely shun any positive concepts around it if im made to compare.

Admission :

There are great reservation benifits. I did not reap them but my classmates have. There is no entrance exams or cut off. U can just walk in the college and ask for admission forms and aid with very basic eligibilities. Difficulty level of even basic exams is low. Eligibilies are very basic such as having passed the 12th examination.

Faculty :

My interactions with teachers have been mostly well. There is a healthy teacher to students ratio given that the college is small. Teachers are understanding and experienced. But as obvious, it depends on the individuals perspectives and experiences. I encountered a few things problematic with very few teachers, but that is a personal level friction.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I had passed 10+2 in the commerce stream, my options as I had thought were B.com or BBA. But when I went in for admission, the teachers made me realize that I could also venture into the computer science spectrum. And there I was introduced to a data science degree. It made sense to me as I now wanted a more practical degree. The staff is ample in quantity and we'll be qualified. Most teachers in the computer science dept. are Ph.D. holders and have an average teaching experience of 15 years. The teaching methodology varies from traditional methods like books and board to a more practical hands-on experience in labs The term exams were not too complicated and could be passed and scored well if studied thoroughly.

Placement Experience:

Every year Placement Drive is organized for students. Many companies visit our college. Students appear in interviews and get a chance to interact with multi-level companies. Many students got placement in good companies and production houses. Some students from Animation Department have also worked in Jumanji and Bahubali movies.
