Entrance Preview :

I took KMAT and I joined M.tech food processing engineering. My interview based on characteristic of subjects knowledge.

Course Curriculum Overview :

M.tech food processing and engineering is one of the best courses in karunya university. The processing Nd development of food industry in India is grown up. We are the food engineers to develop the foods and flavours. We encourage agriculture food products like dairy Nd storage of grains.

Internships Opportunities :

Yes. Karunya university provide international internship (IAESTE). And also all departments provide students internship for industrial as well as research

Placement Experience :

There are more then 500 companies come and select our college students. More then 1500 students get jobs.most of the companies come in a on campus. Some of the companies only off campus. Karunya university assured the placement. Karunya had placement cell for each department nd they announce and prepare the students for placement training.

College Events :

Karunya university has lot of events. Both technical Nd non technical. One of the biggest event is MINECRAFT in every year February month. Students utilize the opportunity to create their innovative ideas. And also KEMT national sports meet also conducting on every year October.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fees structure is feasible. No other extras charge. perfect course fees structure. In food processing engineering tuition fees per semester 45000 and hostel fees one year 80000. Hostel fees included in room rent, electricity, food, etc. Karunya university fees structure is very good

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Yes here so many scholarships are available. One of the biggest scholarship is our college founder late Dr. D.G.S Dhinakaran scholarship is help to the students to achieve their goals. Also other scholarships are there.

Campus Life :

Campus life amazing in our karunya university. One of the most leading institute in india. We are unity by karunyans. We make it simple. We are friends for ever.we avoid the economic status. We are all bond in one thoughts that is karunyans. We love each others. All people support each others.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel facilities are very good. Hostel gym is highly modernized and 24*7 full electricity. Also food is one of thr best part of hostel life because karunya food is very good Nd hygiene. Play grounds are more than 20s there. 24*7 hours wifi facilities are very useful. Hostel rooms are very wide range space.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

Alumni cell develop by Karunya university. our seniors are placed in MNC companies Nd they help karunyans.

Exam Structure :

Exam pattern was cbcs (choice based Credit system). The system was very useful to young students who are all intended this system. They really like to study this pattern. And it is help to students to identify their knowledge Nd Innovative. The system continue to the students make their projects starting their 1 year onwards.

Our faculties are very knowledgeable persons Nd they are dedicating theirs life to students future. Faculties are friendly approach and they concentrate on research development in their own special. We are very proud to karunyans. Our faculties are best

My college experience

Placement Experience:

In M.Tech second semester onwards internships will come and in fourth-semester, full-time employment opportunities will come almost 100 companies will visit in a year like an abb, bosch, GE, Accenture, TCS, Wipro, Microsoft, Schneider Electric, Mitsubishi, Hyundai, Alstom, Volvo, Invention, Analog Devices, Nokia etc. The Highest package is about 20 LPA and the lowest was 3.6 LPA about 95 percent of students were being placed. After getting the degree I'll go for my job.

And the mark is calculated based on the mark we score in the entrance exam and also the 12th standard marks taken in certain Percentage decided by the University Board. In one month they will announce the marks online or on the University Board. Then in a couple of days, counselling will happen.
