Remarks :

Always had heard about this college since I was in 11th standard, always heard thing that Damodar College of Commerce & Economics not just focuses on academics but also it has a lot of extracurricular activities, with 1 intercollegiate event Anantara and every department has a separate intercollegiate event. The admission process here very simple as whenever the admissions ars open they notify on their college website and then you just have to go to college and buy the prospectus and fill the required forms, the fee payment can be done digitally as well, there are different instalments options available. Damodar College also has a good infrastructure, with a good library with endless books, a good canteen, gym, playground and what not. You will just love studying here.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I always had an interest in Computers, hence I had opted for BCA, the staff here is more like a family to you and not just teachers who teach and go, the faculty has good education varying from MCA to ME etc.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 51000 per year

Placement Experience :

For the placement of the final year student such that semester 5 pass out students are eligible with a minimum 60% aggregate, there are various regional as well as domestic companies that visit the placement fair.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There usually isn't a BIG hike in fees, they are very nominal, there are also various scholarships available which details are available on the college website, there are also the career and placement cell which helps you to get good placements whenever there is a placement fair.

Campus Life :

There is 1 annual cultural fest known as ANANTARA in which college all over Goa participates, there is also a technical fest known as Spectra which is a technical event in which more than 10 colleges participates, there are also various clubs in the college which organises different programs and events throughout.

A good college all in all

Placement Experience:

Most companies come to interview the final year or the 6-semester students but other 2nd year Students or the 3-4th semester can go and take part in the interviews. Mostly banks and hotels visit the college such as Taj, Radisson, and banks such as Yes Bank, Axis Bank come for interviews

Best college but hopeless teachers and no job placement

Placement Experience:

College provides opportunities but i couldn't find one also worth it cause most of them require people from msc with web development knowledge .. but i got an part time job from college and it provides me with a stipend of 7500 which is really good for me .. specially my boss is very friendly and kind hearted

Don bosco college is best college in panjim area.

Remarks:

According to my experience college is overall good, but they only have to focus on internship and they have to give internship to student so, that student can get good job experience and knowledge. so, that students can get a good job in future.The 3 year experience was amazing and hectic too. It is not the beat college to pursue your UG course but well worth it. Teaching faculty was well experienced but the main subjects were not taught for more than 2 semester. Overall a good experience, no regrets at all.
