MIT-ADT Through My Lens

Likes

College campus is the most beautiful thing and is favorite among the students
College culture, the amount of events and extra curriculars offered are unbeatable.
The learning facilities are top notch, from labs to classrooms everything is great.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have completed degree in Computer science with Al and analytics as specialization, considering that the course is very relevant and industry specific, there are often industry visits and mentor sessions to learn real time. The exams are conducted thrice every semester two exams are of 20 marks each and final is of 60 marks, the diffculty level is easy to moderate and it also varies student to student.

What ISDI is like

Likes

The college has excellent infrastructure and management.
Teachers are a hit or miss. There’s mostly rookie teachers for the first years but as you select your specialization, you’ll only be dealing with a specific set of teachers. Some of them are extremely experienced and some are okay-okay.
The college has excellent industry connections. There’s no better place to network as a student in Mumbai. They have people visiting from all over the world and master classes and talks occurring every now and then.

Dislikes

They’ve increased their intake of students massively. The campus is becoming way too crowded for so many people. They’ve expanded campus into some floors in the hostel which is right across the street.
Everything in the college is slowly getting more and more expensive. They charge large unnecessary fines for things like not bringing your hall ticket or a new ID card or for exam rechecking.
Canteen is wayy too expensive for students like us

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are very good and they have people coming from a diverse range of companies. I am a second year student so I don't know about the exact packages. I plan to identify my strengths by 4th year and get a job in that sector.

Likes

The classrooms are okay

Dislikes

Faculty, their attitude, the impact they put on kids

Course Curriculum Overview:

Personally, I don't think it's all that great. The faculties don't care enough. They don't provide quality education and have no helping nature. The exams were kept online after the covid-19 conclusion because they have taken some code-tantra subscriptions. They compromise the quality of education for their benefit and aim at earning money.

MIT Days

I had passed three yars of Diploma in Mechanical Enigineering with 84%. after passing I had applied for Btech in 5 colleges, COEP, MIT, SIT, KJCOE and VIT. in first round i got confirmed admission in KJCOE. the second round was in eight days and the admission closing date of KJCOE was in 15 days, so I decided to wait for the next round, and luckily one female student opted out of the course in MIT and I got the admission. I personally wanted to get in COEP as the placements and packages was highest in that college at my time, but the cut off was 89% that year so i did not got the admission. Admission process was simple, I just had to take my three years diploma marksheets, my HSC marksheet, my SSC marksheet, caste certificate, and domicile certificate....Read More
