Course Curriculum Overview :

This course has great advantage that they give us industrisl exposure. They provide us better education and support us towards innovative ideas. In the month of March we started to plan IV to ooty but as corona spreads over Kerala. It has been cancelled but we have visited neelambur foundry. They provide training for the placement.

Class Size : 70Course Fees : INR 88700 per year

Placement Experience :

The placement is too good when compared to other colleges. They also avail internships for students, even abroad. Top companies like L&T, caterpillar, ashok leyland, Tata and many core and IT companies are visiting our college and hiring 70-80% of students who have no arrears and the rest of them get placed after completing their arrears. Your life is settled when you join our college. The placement is highly guaranteed with average annual package around 5LPA.

College Events :

Intrams, Dramatix, Tech day, Hostel day, etc are celebrated every year in our college. Kriya, Shrishti and various other technical and workshop events are held every year. They celebrate in a grand mannar. But in psg tech they won't invite any Cine artists for the cultural programme. They give importance to both academic and sports.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

It's not that much expensive compared to other colleges in Coimbatore. Mode of payment:DD alone. There is no additional fees collected by the college. If you enter via tnea counseling you need to pay only the respective amount mentioned in the college official website every year. You can pay ur fees in part which means you can pay the remaining fees later. Also You will be provided with equipment and stationery materials in the first year(drafters, notebooks, etc). You need to stitch uniform on your own money.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Yes, my tutor informed me about many scholarship and I have been availed Shanthi social service scholarship worth Rs.25K every year. Eligibility: economically poor with good gpa in 1st semester.

Campus Life :

Boys are around 65% and the girls are around 30-35%. But the wealthy guys won't concentrate on studies. Sports also plays a good role in our college. The boys and girls are very free in their relationship and they won't restrict the friendship among opposite genders. Boys and girls be very close in studies and help each other. There is no casteism and politics among us.

Hostel Facilities :

My native is Karur. So, there is no other way and I opted for college hostel. In first we are allotted with 4 people per room with clean common bathrooms. The food is very hygiene, tasty and clean. They offer non veg thrice a week and there is north mess too which can be applied every month starting. They offer clean drinking and bathing water. The rooms are cleaned daily and I don't know about pg students rent.

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes, they are very helpul. They support us during our placements. Also they give us their innovative ideas which can be a great platform to achieve your goals.

Admission :

Through TNEA counseling. My passion towards mechanical engineering. I went on a online counseling through which I got seat in this college. In the month of July 2019 they conducted online counseling and in the first round of counseling I have been allotted this college with allotment order. I had gone for admission process in this college on July 17, 2019. And my college started on July 23, 2019.

Faculty :

Actually in our college the faculty and student ratio is 1:13. So it is easy to take care of all the students. There is more than 50 professors for our department with higher qualifications. All are mostly doctorates.Most of them studied in NIT's and IIT's. When I asked any doubts they clear them with pleasure.

Remarks:

The facilities and infrastructure of VIT are excellent. There are 24/7 Wi-Fi with high-speed. All the labs were running neatly, all the computers are checked and them running in a proper manner. Classrooms are large and ventilated, infrastructure is also good. There is a big digital library on the campus with all modern facilities available.

Placement Experience:

Almost 90% of students are participating in placements every year. The highest package is about 35 to 40 Lacs per annum, whereas the lowest one is about 7 to 10 lakhs per annum. TCS, IBM, Microsoft, Google are the top recruiting companies. Around 70% of students get internships every year.

One of the best college for arts in Chennai

Remarks:

My college was in the heart of the city and had good commuting facilities from across the city. We had the good faculties and a good atmosphere. Our cricket ground was one of the best and we did have Rahul Dravid and S Ramesh come down for practice and matches. Really loved the 3 years spent in that college
